Worcester Regional ORH Airport Overview

Worcester's Regional Airport ORH serves Massachusetts' second-largest city of Worcester and its surrounding areas offering both commercial and general avaiation. It is operated by Massport, which also operates Boston's Logan Airport. Over a million people reside within a 25-mile radius from the Airport, not to mention the 40,000 students enrolled in the city's colleges.

The Airport is located within city limits of Worcester (48 miles west of Boston), near the cross roads of several major highways. In fact it is only five miles from either the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) or I-290. From  I-290, take exit 17 to Highland Street west leading to Mill street south; follow signs.

Worcester Regional Airport was served by Direct Air - which suspended its services between of March 13 and May 15, 2015 -
offered flights to West Palm Beach, Punta Gorda/Ft. Myers and Orlando/Sanford, Florida, as well as to Myrtle Beach. It is not clear if they will continue their service (call Direct Air at 1-855-888-8090).  Charter service to Atlantic City is offered through Tropicana (1-609-340-4429).

The passenger terminal at Worcester Regional Airport provides comfort and accessibility and features four jetway gates, two ramp level gates, two baggage carousels and a TSA installed passenger and baggage screening system.  Amenities include free internet access and The Mirage Express which offers pre-flight freshly made sandwiches, non-alcoholic beverages and sundries, which you can preorder at 508 757-7255.

Parking options at Worcester Regional Airport are available across from the terminal and include a free short-term parking with disabled parking spaces (see HP Accessible Parking signs) and long-term parking (payment must be made in advance when entering the main parking lot. Thereafter, exit the main lot and re-enter the terminal road to park.

To get from the Airport to your destination, you can rent a car or take a taxi (Red Cab 508-792-9999; Yellow Cab 508-754-3211).
