- YKM Airport Overview
Yakima Air Terminal/McAllister Field YKM is located three miles south of downtown Yakima, in the State of Washington, between Mt. Rainier National Park to the west and the Columbia River to the South. The Airport is close to I-82 (Exit 110), which runs north to I-90. YKM Airport is owned by the City and County of Yakima. Horizon Air provides four daily flights to/from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (Sea-Tac) onboard the 76 seat Bombardier Q400 highspeed turboprop. Budget & Hertz rental car agencies are located in the lobby of the passenger terminal. Both long- and short-term parking is located directly adjacent to the terminal building. Also, there are six metered short-term passenger pick-up and drop-off spaces on the circle drive in front of the terminal building--you need a quarter for every 15 minutes. Taxis are available in front of the terminal or from the kiosk.
