Traveling from Boston to Zurich on 8/21/16 with a one hour layover connecting to Naples Italy will this be enough time

Yes, that should be enough time as long as both tickets are on the same reservation.

I have a 40 minute layover with a transfer from Swiss to Air Canada. Is this be enough time? Would it be better if we upgraded to the seats close to business class?

It will be difficult either way.

  • ZAG-ZRH-IAD-OKC and OKC-DEN-FRA-ZAG

Next week my older sister will fly from ZAG to ZRH (OU460), ZRH to IAD (UA53) and from IAD to OKC (UA6271). For six months coming back from OKC to DEN (UA1769), DEN to FRA (LH447) and from FRA to ZAG (LH1414). One eTicket was issued with UA and one reservation applies to all flights. Because she has difficulty walking I'd like to help her to prepare travel itinerary. Questions: I. When and where does she get boarding passes for connecting flights? Maybe in ZAG for UA53, in OKC for LH447 and LH1414? II. What about immigration and custom in IAD? Could you please explain procedure step by step? Which forms she has to fill out before landing in the US? III. Which are arrival and departure gates for connecting airports (ZRH, IAD, DEN and FRA)? I really appreciate any help you can provide

She will be issued all boarding passes at her first airport going bothw ays. At IAD she will go through US Immigration, claim her bags, go through US Customs, re-check her bags at the re-check desk, and go through security and to her departure gate. In IAD she will arrive and depart from the C/D gates. In Denver, on her return she just has to go from her arrival gate in the B gates to her departure gate in the A gates.

Flying Warsaw zurich arriving at 1635 and departing to Newark at 1720. I have noticed in the past 2 weeks that the Warsaw flight is almost every day 20 or more minutes late. I have asked Swiss to rebook me on an earlier flight, but their comment is that it should work, and if not, then we'll see. It seems they prefer to Rik having me stay overnight in Zurich instead of having me on an earlier flight. Is there any way to get around this strange behaviour?

Arriving from Chicago on swiss air at 6:20 am and leaving on swiss air at 7:45am for Lyon. Do I have enough time and which terminal does each plane use?

Zurich only has one terminal. You have enough time. You just have to go through Schengen passport control and to your departure gate.

OK, so I read more, Zurich has 3 things that they call terminals but most other airports would call concourses. You will likely arrive in E and depart from A or B.

  • 40 min connection in ZRH from Canada to Spain

We have 40 mins connection in ZRH on YUL-ZRH-MAD in October, both legs are on the same reservation with Swiss. As they offer that route, it means that theoretically 40 mins are enough if the first flight is on time. Is there some tips you can offer, like go there and don't go there, so we don't lose precious minutes while connecting? I guess we have to go through passport control, and hopefully not through airport security again. Thanks !

I'm looking at a booking that would leave MUC on Lufthansa, connecting through ZRH, to Toronto on Air Canada. I'll have a checked bag and will be traveling with a US passport. The layover is only 50 minutes. Will that be sufficient? It's a morning (8:45) arrival in Zurich if that makes any difference. Does the checked bag provide any additional complication, or is that just automatically transferred between the flights without any issue?

The checked bag is automatically transferred. All you have to do in Zurich is go through Schengen exit passport control. You should have just enough time if everything goes smoothly.

We fly in from Warsaw at 16:35 (if on time) and depart to Newark at 17:20. Do we need to go to another set of gates (D or E?) and how much time would we need? If the first flight is delayed, will the Newark flight wait a few minutes?

That should be just enough time. They will not hold your flight for you. It obviously leaves no time to spare if the flight from Warsaw is delayed.

did you make your connecting flight? i have a similar connection from krakow to chicago
