Which gates are usually connecting for an international flight from NYC connecting through ZRH?

Zurich Airport has one large passenger terminal with integrated Terminals 1 & 2 and Concourses A, B & E (E being a satellite): While Concourse /Gates B/D are to the left, Concourse /Gates A are to the right, and the Skymetro takes you to Councourse /gates E. Simply follow signs to your connecting A - E gates. (a) On arrival you need to pass through passport control & the security checkpoint prior to boarding your connecting flight. (b) If you have a boarding pass for your onward flight, watch the screens for flight information, appearing one hour prior to scheduled flight. If you don't have one yet contact the information or transfer desk in your waiting area, which is clearly marked.

Will I be able to make my Zurich to Rome connection within 60 minutes?

The integrated Terminal at ZRH has Concourses A, B,, & E. While Concourse /Gates B/D are to the left, Concourse /Gates A are to the right, while the Skymetro takes you to Satellite Concourse /gates E. On arrival you need to go through 'non-Schengen' passport check before proceeding to your gate. Your time is very tight, but doable.
