I have an outbound flight American Airlines from ZRH to JFK that is scheduled to leave from E gates at 10:15am on a Sunday. If my Air France flight is scheduled to land at Terminal 2 at 8:50am, will I have enough time to make the flight to New York?
Is it two separate reservations? Do you have checked bags?
It is two separate ticket reservations but I won't be checking any luggage.
With no checked bags this is possible if you check in online for your Air France flight but leaves no time to spare.
flying to ZRH from Shanghai with arrival time at 03:50pm, connect a different flight to Boston with departure at 05:30pm, layover time is one hour and 40 minutes. both reservations are by Swiss Air.Do we have enough time to board the flight to Boston and will our check-in luggage be able to transfer to the flight to Boston? Thanks!
Yes, that is enough time.
Thank you very much for the reply!
Hello, I have a connecting flight from Santiago de Compostela to JFK with stopover in Zurich 1 hour. The luggage is already going to destination, but it is difficult to get off one plane and climb another? Do you have to change terminals? Can you explain me?
want to know walking distance between terminal arrival 2 to terminal E
duration time is 1hour and 40 minutes, never land in ZRH airport, afraid of missing the connecting flight to Boston. Thanks for your help! Shelley
ZRH only has one terminal. What they call "terminals" are really concourses. You have enough time if both flights are on the same reservation.
Yes, both flights are on the same reservation 'Swiss Air'.
You have put our minds at ease.Thank you for your help!
I have a connecting flight in Zurich to Mumbai, I am flying from Toronto on Air Canada and from Zurich to Mumbai on Swiss Air. What is the minimum connecting time required to connect and will 1:55 min be sufficient time to connect.
Yes, that is enough time. If both flights are on the same reservation all you have to do in Zurich is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Thank you
Bosnia citizen traveling from Los Angeles to Belgrade ( Serbia) with 2 hrs layover in Zurich. Am I going through passport control and is 2 hrs enough for this connection.... thank you !
We are flying from Singapore to Paris via Swiss Air and a layover in Zurich. We have 45 mins to transfer? Will this be enough time? Do we have to go thru passport control? And I guess we will not re-check our luggages again since it is the same airline
Hello, I am flying this Saturday from Manchester to Belgrade, transferring in Zurich. I will have 40 minutes to make the transfer. Is that enough? Will I need to go through a passport check again? I am travelling with an EU passport. Thank you!
Yes, that should be just enough time. Since you are not entering the Schengen Area you will not go through passport control.
Thank you for your reply. What about the return journey? I am flying from Belgrade to Manchester, bit this time through Munich. Passport check...?! :/
Again, not entering the Schengen Area, so no passport controls. Munich is smaller, so easier than Frankfurt.
Sorry, Munich is about the same size as Zurich, so very similar.
We are flying from Boston to Lisbon with a connection in Zurich. We would only have one hour to make this connection in Zurich and I would like to know if this is enough time.
That is just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
US Citizen Flying Swiss Air LAX to Charles De Gaulle but laying over in Zurich. We are planning on remaining in Zurich and not continuing to CDG. If we check our bags, will we have to retrieve them anyway before passport control in Zurich, then re-check, so we can do so and just leave? Or are the bags checked through to CDG. Can't seem to get a for sure answer from United who we booked through or Swiss Air. We will carry on otherwise but are traveling with two toddlers so would prefer to check.
No, you won't. You will have to only bring carry-ons if you're planning on not going onwards to Paris.
Thank you
Hi! I'm flying to Croatia from Boston and have a 45 min layover in Zurich. Same reservation through Swiss. Will I have to go through passport control? Will I have to re-check in my luggage at the airport? Any security? Different Terminal? WILL I MAKE IT!? Thanks!
No, you will not have to go through passport control or do anything with your luggage and Zurich only really has one Terminal. you have enough time.
Is 1hour 25 min enough for a connection for coming in on United from US and departing on Swiss to Italy? Do we have to pick up luggage and drop again or just go through immigration?
you just go through Schengen entry passport control. You should have enough time.
Great, so no luggage pick u and drop off?
