Getting Around CAK Airport
The airport features a single terminal, making it straightforward for travelers to navigate. With only 9 gates, passengers can quickly move between check-in, security, and their departure gate without the long walks often associated with larger airports. The terminal is compact and well-signposted, ensuring that key areas such as baggage claim, security checkpoints, and boarding gates are easy to find.
Inside the terminal, travelers will find a variety of amenities to enhance their experience. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the terminal, and there are comfortable seating areas where passengers can relax before their flights. Security & Screening

Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
Akron Airport has two security checkpoints located on the upper level of the terminal. The first checkpoint is located near the entrance to Concourse B, while the second checkpoint is located near the entrance to Concourse A. Both checkpoints are open from 4:00 am until the last flight of the day.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
There are no dedicated fast track lanes at CAK Airport. However, TSA PreCheck is available for eligible passengers, which allows for expedited screening through the security checkpoint. TSA PreCheck lanes are available at both security checkpoints at the airport.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
The airport does not have any international flights, so there are no passport or immigration control locations within the airport. However, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) services are available at nearby international airports such as Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and Pittsburgh International Airport.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
CAK has TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints available for passengers. TSA Pre Check allows expedited screening for eligible passengers, which means they can keep on their shoes, belts, and light jackets, and leave laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags. This can save time and hassle for travelers who frequently fly. TSA Pre Check is available for US citizens, US nationals, and lawful permanent residents.

Global Entry Locations
Global Entry is a program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. Akron Canton Regional Airport does not have a Global Entry Enrollment Center on-site, but there are several locations nearby where travelers can complete the enrollment process. These include the Cleveland Enrollment Center and the Pittsburgh Enrollment Center. To enroll in Global Entry, travelers must complete an online application, schedule an interview at an enrollment center, and pay a fee. Once approved, Global Entry members can use automated kiosks at select airports to expedite their entry into the US.
CLEAR Lane Locations

Baggage Claim Areas
Upon arrival at the airport, passengers can easily locate the baggage claim area by following the signs. The airport has two baggage claim carousels located on the lower level of the terminal building. Baggage is typically delivered within 15-20 minutes of the flight's arrival. Passengers are advised to check the baggage tags to ensure they are collecting the correct luggage.
