Security checkpoints at CSG Airport are located at the entrance of each terminal. Terminal A has one security checkpoint located near the entrance, while Terminal B has two checkpoints located near the entrance and in the middle of the terminal. Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport at least two hours before their flight departure time to allow enough time for security screening.

Fast Track Lanes and Locations

The airport offers TSA PreCheck for expedited security screening. Passengers who are enrolled in TSA PreCheck can use the designated lanes at the security checkpoints in both Terminal A and Terminal B. In addition, there are no fast track lanes available for passengers who are not enrolled in TSA PreCheck.

TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints

If you're flying out of Columbus Airport, you'll encounter TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints when going through security. The TSA (Transportation Security Administration) is responsible for screening passengers and their luggage to ensure safety aboard commercial flights. To be eligible for TSA Pre Check, you must apply and be approved for the program.

If you're interested in applying for Global Entry, you can start the process online and schedule your in-person interview at CSG Airport.
