Columbus Airport has one main terminal building with two concourses: Concourse A and Concourse B. The airport is relatively small, so navigating around the terminal is easy and straightforward.

The main terminal building at CSG Airport houses all the necessary amenities for travelers. Concourse A is primarily used for Delta flights, while Concourse B is used by American Airlines and other airlines. The airport has a good selection of restaurants, cafes, and shops, including a Starbucks, a Hudson News store, and a PGA Tour Shop. There are also ATMs and currency exchange services available for travelers who need them.

Getting Between Terminals

As mentioned, the airport has only one main terminal building with two concourses, so getting between terminals is not an issue. The concourses are connected to the main terminal building by a covered walkway, which makes it easy to move between them. There is also a shuttle service available for travelers who need assistance getting around the airport.

Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)

Security checkpoints at CSG Airport are located at the entrance of each terminal. Terminal A has one security checkpoint located near the entrance, while Terminal B has two checkpoints located near the entrance and in the middle of the terminal. Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport at least two hours before their flight departure time to allow enough time for security screening.

Fast Track Lanes and Locations

The airport offers TSA PreCheck for expedited security screening. Passengers who are enrolled in TSA PreCheck can use the designated lanes at the security checkpoints in both Terminal A and Terminal B. In addition, there are no fast track lanes available for passengers who are not enrolled in TSA PreCheck.

Passport & Immigration Control Locations

Passport and immigration control at CSG are located in the baggage claim area of both Terminal A and Terminal B. Passengers arriving on international flights are required to go through passport and immigration control before collecting their baggage. The airport has several passport control booths and immigration officers to ensure efficient processing of passengers.

TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints

If you're flying out of Columbus Airport, you'll encounter TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints when going through security. The TSA (Transportation Security Administration) is responsible for screening passengers and their luggage to ensure safety aboard commercial flights. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows eligible passengers to go through expedited security screening, which means they can keep their shoes, belts, and light jackets on, and their laptops and liquids in their bags. To be eligible for TSA Pre Check, you must apply and be approved for the program.

Global Entry Locations

Columbus Airport is an official Global Entry Enrollment Center, which means that travelers can apply for the Global Entry program and complete their in-person interview at the airport. Global Entry is a program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers entering the United States. Members can use automated kiosks to complete their customs declaration and biometric scan, which can save time and hassle when returning from international travel. Airport Lounge Locations

the airport offers a few lounges for passengers to relax and unwind before their flight. The American Airlines Admirals Club is located in the main terminal, near gate 3. This lounge is open to American Airlines and Oneworld alliance members, as well as passengers with certain credit cards. The lounge offers comfortable seating, complimentary snacks and beverages, and free Wi-Fi.

Another lounge option at CSG is the United Club, located in the main terminal near gate 6. This lounge is open to United Airlines and Star Alliance members, as well as passengers with certain credit cards. The lounge features comfortable seating, complimentary snacks and beverages, and free Wi-Fi.

Baggage Claim Areas

Columbus Airport has three baggage claim areas located on the lower level of the terminal building. Baggage claim carousels are clearly marked with flight information and airline logos to help passengers easily identify their luggage. The airport recommends that passengers keep their baggage claim tags with them until they have retrieved their luggage.

Luggage Cart Availability

Luggage carts are available for rent at Columbus Airport for a fee of $5.00. Carts can be found in the baggage claim areas and throughout the terminal building. The airport accepts cash and credit card payments for luggage cart rentals. Passengers are encouraged to return their carts to designated areas to help keep the terminal clean and organized.

Luggage Storage Locations (Left Luggage)

CSG Airport does not offer luggage storage facilities or left luggage services. Passengers are advised to make arrangements with their airline or hotel for storage options. Alternatively, there are several luggage storage companies located near the airport that offer short-term and long-term storage solutions for a fee.
