From Harklion International Airport to your destination:  For taxis visit www..taxi-her.gr, or e-mail info@taxi-her.gr).  The bus stop is only 2 minutes from the Airport.   While local shuttle buses depart every few minutes, City bus 78 runs every 20 mins.

Blue buses
(tel. +30 2810 226065 /220795) to local destinations leave the Airport every 10 minutes, from early morning to late evening, Monday-Saturday, and run less frequently on Sundays.
Green buses are long-distance buses connecting the Heraklion city with other destinations on Crete Island. For KTEL  buses visit either www.crete-buses.gr  -or-  www.bus-service-crete-ktel.com.

Herakliion has two Regional bus stations:
- The Central Bus Station, is on Port Avenue and serves lines to Chania & Rethymno, as well as destinations in the prefecture of Lassithi (including Ag. Nikolaos, Ierapetra and Sitia, the coastline northeast of Heraklion, and the eastern part of prefecture of Heraklion).
- Right outside of City walls (west side, Chanioporta gate).  It serves the eastern part of Haraklion prefecture, including the south-east coast line.
