Ireland West Airport Knock NOC, formerly known as Knock International Airport, is located 5.6 miles southwest of Charlestown, in the County of Mayo, in the heart of West Ireland. The Airport is located on the main N17 North-South road, between Galway and Sligo. Major cities and towns within a 90-minute drive from the Airport are: Castlebar, Ballina, Galway, Sligo, Donegal, Longford, Leitrim & Roscommon.  With 630,000 passengers a year, Ireland West Aiport is served by Aer Arann, Aer Lingus, Bmibaby and Ryanair, offering flights to Dublin, and a number of UK cities, and by seasonal charters to popular vacation destinations.
The passenger terminal at Ireland West Airport had been recently revamped and expanded. The information desk is on the ground floor next to the check-in area. Free high-speed internet access is available throughout the passenger terminal. Two coin-operated internet kiosks are in the Slainte Restaurant on the first floor,and another two are in the Departures area.  For food and drink there is the Slainte Restaurant, Dannan’s Cafe Bar, and Barr Na Cuige Departures Bar. For shopping there is Dannan’s Newsworld, Travel Vaue, Duty-Free, Tax Refund, and Knock Shrine. Other amenities include an ATM cash machine, a currency exchange by ICE, and a prayer room opposite the Slainte Restaurant.  
The following rental car agencies have rental desks in the passenger terminal: Avis, Budget, Hertz,  Europcar/National/Alamo, Iris Car Rentals, Sixt, Casey’s Auto Rentals and 353 Car Hire.
Parking is available in the outdoor lot across from the passenger terminal, with 1,500 spaces, available for short- and long-term parking. Parking fees are as follows: Each hr up to3hrs 2 EUR/hr; under 4 hrs 7 EUR; days 1 & 2 are 9 EUR/each;  days 4-7 35 EUR;  days 10-14 70 EUR; 17 days to one month are 90 EUR.
Keep your car park ticket with you and pay at the automatic pay stations in the passenger terminal before returning to your car. The pay stations accept credit cards. No payment facility is at the exit barriers. Daily fees apply to a 24-hr period, weekly fees are to a 24 hr, 7 day period.
To get from Ireland West Airport Knock to your destination, you can rent a car, take a taxi, a bus or a train:
(a) Licensed taxi cabs are located at the taxi rank outside the passenger terminal, or can be pre-booked.  The Guideline price is 1.25 EUR/km or 2EUR/mile. A cab to Charlestown commands the minimum fare of 15 EUR, to Swinford & Kilelly it’s also 15 EUR, to Knock it’s 25 EUR
(b) Bus Eireann (Tel: +35 309 671 800) operates a shuttle bus ‘BusAer’ (listed on Bus Eireann’s Table No. 449)up to 8 times daily, between the Airport and Charlestown, connecting there with its long-distance Expressway (listed on Bus Eireann’s Table No. 22) service to Dublin, Cork, Galway, Derry, Belfast, Westport, and towns in between.
(c) The nearest railway station to the Airport is Claremorris (31 km) or Ballyhaunis (22 km), both are on the Dublin Heuston – Westport line. You can reach these two stations by either a taxi or by Eireann Bus.
