Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
Lehigh Valley ABE Airport has two security checkpoints, one located on the first floor near the baggage claim area and the other on the second floor near the departure gates. Both checkpoints are equipped with state-of-the-art technology to ensure the safety and security of passengers and their belongings. Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before their scheduled departure time to allow for enough time to pass through security.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
ABE Airport offers a TSA PreCheck program that allows eligible passengers to use a dedicated lane for faster security screening. The TSA PreCheck lane is located at the first-floor security checkpoint near the baggage claim area. The airport does not have international flights, therefore, there are no passport and immigration control locations at the airport. However, passengers traveling to international destinations from nearby airports such as Philadelphia International Airport or Newark Liberty International Airport will go through passport and immigration control upon arrival at their destination.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
ABE has TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints for the convenience of travelers. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows expedited screening for eligible travelers, which means they can keep on their shoes, belts, and light jackets, and can leave laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags. To be eligible for TSA Pre Check, travelers must apply and be approved by the TSA. The TSA checkpoint at Lehigh Valley Airport is located on the lower level of the terminal.
Global Entry Locations
Lehigh Valley ABE Airport does not have a Global Entry enrollment center, but there are several nearby locations where travelers can apply for Global Entry. The closest enrollment center is located at Philadelphia International Airport, which is about an hour and a half drive from ABE Airport. Airport Lounge Locations
the airport may be a small airport, but it still offers a few lounges for travelers to relax in before their flights. The airport has a United Club lounge located in the main terminal near Gate 6. This lounge is exclusively for United Airlines passengers and offers complimentary snacks, drinks, and Wi-Fi.
