Getting Around the Airport
Lehigh Valley International Airport serves the Lehigh County of the State of Pennsylvania. It can be a convenient alternative for area residents to either Newark or Philadelphia airports, offering an uncrowded, comfortable and secure passenger terminal with quick access to the gates. Even with a stop at the ticket counter, it usually takes only 15-20 minutes from the time you park your car until you arrive at the gate.
Main Terminal
The terminal building structure at the ABE airport has one main terminal building which houses all airport facilities.
Among its amenities and services are assistance to people with disabilities, ATM machines on both levels, Customer Care volunteers, free baggage carts, free WiFi access, a gift shop mail facilities and a mail-back program.
Food, Shops & Amenities
There are various shopping and dining options at the ABE Airport. There is Lehigh Valley Cafe on level 2, Dunkin, and the PA Pub Cafe for dining. For shopping there is Spirit of Lehigh News & Gift and Smart Market in the Main Terminal.
Terminal Tips
- Passengers are advised to arrive at least 2 hours before their scheduled departure time to account for TSA security wait times and any possible delays.
- To ensure a smooth check-in process, passengers should pack carry-on luggage in a suitable manner, have photo ID ready, and read all the airline guidelines properly prior to arriving at the airport.
- No unattended baggage will be allowed inside the terminal building. You must keep your bags with you at all times.
