Guest Services at London Gatwick LGW Airport
Lost & Found
Everything found at the airport is handed to our lost property office, operated by Excess Baggage Company. Items are logged on to a database at lostproperty.org. It can take 24 to 48 hours for a found item to be registered, but we keep all items for up to three months. If you have lost your items on board a BA, easyJet or Emirates flight, please register the loss with the individual airline.
Please log your lost item at lostproperty.org and we will then start the process of matching an item to the description you give - the more detail you can give, the easier this is for us. If we find a match we will contact you and give you a reference number so that you can arrange for the collection of your item. We are also able to post items directly to you if that is more convenient.
Our office is open for collection between 10:00 and 16:00 every day. We can also arrange for out of hours collections via the Excess Baggage Left Luggage outlet in our South Terminal.
There is a fee to reclaim your item which covers the administrative process and storage of the item.
