Getting Around PNS Airport
PNS Airport features a single passenger terminal, simplifying your navigation through the facility. The terminal is equipped with 12 gates. Most of these gates, specifically Gates 1 through 10, are located on the second floor. Gates 11 and 12 are situated on the ground floor, making them easily accessible for quick arrivals and departures. This layout means that after security, you will primarily navigate the second floor to reach your gate.

- Check your gate number on your boarding pass or the flight information displays scattered throughout the terminal. This will help you determine if you need to head upstairs to the second floor or stay on the ground floor.

Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
The airport has two security checkpoints, one located at the north end of the terminal and the other at the south end. The north checkpoint is accessible from the ticketing area and serves gates 1-5, while the south checkpoint is accessible from the baggage claim area and serves gates 6-10. Both checkpoints are equipped with standard screening lanes and TSA PreCheck lanes for expedited security screening.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
PNS does not currently offer a Fast Track program for expedited security screening. However, TSA PreCheck lanes are available at both security checkpoints for eligible passengers who have enrolled in the TSA PreCheck program. Additionally, the airport offers a VIP airport experience through its partnership with the Pensacola Jet Center, which includes expedited security screening, lounge access, and other amenities for a fee.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
Pensacola International Airport does not have international flights, so there are no passport or immigration control locations within the airport. However, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) services are available at nearby airports such as the Mobile Regional Airport and the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport for international travelers arriving in the United States.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
Pensacola Airport has TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints to ensure the safety and security of all passengers. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows expedited screening for eligible passengers, which means they can keep their shoes, belts, and light jackets on, and their laptops and liquids in their bags. To enroll in TSA Pre Check, passengers must apply online and complete a background check. Once approved, they can use the TSA Pre Check lane at participating airports, including PNS Airport.

Global Entry Locations
The airport does not have a Global Entry Enrollment Center, but there are several locations nearby where travelers can apply for Global Entry. Global Entry is a program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers entering the United States. To apply for Global Entry, travelers must complete an online application and attend an in-person interview at an enrollment center. The closest enrollment centers to PNS are in Mobile, Alabama and New Orleans, Louisiana. It's important to note that Global Entry is not available at all airports, so it's best to check before booking your flight.

Upon arrival at PNS Airport, passengers can easily locate the baggage claim areas. The airport has two baggage claim carousels located in the lower level of the terminal.
