My parents are traveling from Mumbai to AMS and they have a connecting flight to catch from AMS to PDX,USA. What are the procedures that they will have to go through in AMS airport? The connection flight is in 90 minutes. Is this time sufficient? What if they miss the flight to PDX just because the Jetairways flight from Mumbai got delayed? Will the airlines rebook a flight for them in the next flight to PDX?
Hi, I 'll be travelling from Mumbai,India to Seattle,USA , in the second week of October. I have to transit from Concourse G to Concourse D at Schiphol. The flights are jointly operated by Jet, KLM, and Delta. I ' ll have a through check in. My layover time is 95 minutes only and I would like to know whether I can make it, in time. What to do if the flight from Mumbai to Amsterdam is delayed? Any guidance is welcome....Thank you !
That is enough time if your first flight is on-time. If you miss your flight and you cannot be rebooked to Seattle through another point in the USA you will rebooked on the next day's flight to Seattle.
Hi,
We are flying from Geneva to Estonia, however we make a stop in Amsterdam for 4 and half hours, would that be enough to take an Uber to the city and back and make it on time, we have to check in one bag. (KLM to LOT-Polish Airlines)

Thank you for your time and all your help!! Have a great day.
Hi, I have a transfer international flight on my way back and will have 2h 45 min layover time. Is it enough to take railconnection to the city centre and get back? :)

I dont have to collect the checked in bags and I am a EU citizen.

Hello, I have my tickets booked with KLM/DELTA, I leave November 20th from Glasgow to Amsterdam, then Amsterdam to Atlanta.

My layover before Atlanta is 50mins. Will that be enough time, and because it's operating under KLM and Delta flights, does that mean I won't need to re-check my check-in luggage?
Yes, all you have to do in Amsterdam is go through US security questions and to your departure gate. You have enough time if everything goes smoothly.
My wife and I have a six hour layover in Amsterdam. Do we have enough time to leave the airport and do a bit of sightseeing and get back for our continuing flight?
WhAt is the best way to do this? Cab or train. How far out of town is the airport?
Thanks!
The most convenient way to get from Schiphol airport to Amsterdam city center is by train or by taxi. Both take about 25-30 minutes. So you will have some time to see a little bit of Amterdam. I am flying from Moscow to Ams with Aerfloat arriving at 4.10PM (AMS time) and I have different flight to madrid at 6.40PM AirEuropa. In between I have to check-out and check-in my luggage.
Could you please let me know is this transist time is sufficient?
That will be difficult but should be just enough time.
Are 50 minutes enough time for a connection flight ( coming from Stuttgart, going to Newark ) ?
Yes, that should be just enough time if both flights are on the same reservation.
Thank you
I arrive SLC-AMS at 8:40a and next flight departs at 4:30p for Berlin (8 hour Layover). Is there time to take the train into the City to sight see and then get back to the airport in time to catch my 4:30p flight? Thanks.
Yes, that is enough time.
