We are flying with KLM to YEG Canada from FCO, via AMS. We have a 1:40 connection time. Will this be enough time to make this connection?
Yes, that should be plenty of time.
We are arriving business class with carry-on bag on United airlines on an April Thursday at 9:20. Do we have any hope of making a 10:00 RyanAir departure to Dublin since we are not checking bags? Do we need to clear customs before we check in for a connecting flight?
It's maybe possible. Since you aren't entering the Schengen Area, no, you don't have to go through passport control or customs in Amsterdam, but I really don't think you'll make it to the Ryanair gate in time.
What is the minimum connect time recommended when traveling from Warsaw to AMS and transferring to flight to USA?
I would want at least an hour if both flights are on KLM/Delta.
KLM flt 0602 arrive at 09:05 AM from Los Angeles
Flt 3393 operated by Air Europa leaves for Madrid at 10:45,
Can I check bag through to Madrid in LA?
What do I need to do in Amsterdam?
Do I have enough time (1 hr. and 45 min)?

You cannot check your bag through. You have to go through Schengen Entry passport control, claim your bag, re-check it with Air Europa, and go through security. That will be really difficult.
Actually, that is just correct if you bought the two tickets separately. If they are both on one reservation your bag can be checked through to Madrid. I forgot that Air Europa was in Skyteam.
Travel from San Francisco on Delta 9548 arrive at AMS 9:15 am then change next flight KL1565 to Genoa, Italy at 11:40am with 2 separate tickets. Do I need to go through clear custom and get my bag? Will I have enough time to catch the next flight? Is arrival and departure in the same concourse?
Both of those flights are operated by KLM. If you show your Genoa confirmation to the KLM agent in San Francisco they should be able to check your bag through to Genoa, then all you have to do in Amsterdam is go through Schengen Entry passport control and to your departure gate (they will be different concourses). You have enough time.
Flying Teesside UK to Amsterdam with onward connection to Houston - both klm flights. Will 90 mins connection time be sufficient in Amsterdam and will luggage be labelled right through without having to collect and recheck in. Ditto for return journey ... Though more connection time in return flights.
Yes, that is enough time.
Traveling back from Dusseldorf to AMS to US. Only have 1 hour connection time. Do we need to go through the passport entry? In previous flights it has taken over 1/2 hour to get through that checkpoint (or more). Based on previous experience, should we take a flight with a longer layover? Has the passport control process improved?
You will have to go through Schengen Exit passport control and US Security. You have just enough time if everything goes perfectly.
I will be arriving Schiphol at 10;45 AM. Would like to fly out at 12:30 PM on Easy Jet. Is this enough time. I don't know if Delta will check bags through so that I just go through immigration and bags go to Easy Jet or if I have to claim and re check with Easy Jet
Delta will NOT check your bags to Easyjet. You have to go through Schengen Entry passport control, claim your bags, check them with Easyjet, and go through security. That's really hard to do in 105 minutes.
As I expected. Thanks
Flying from USA on Delta, connecting with KLM in Amsterdam for flight to Vienna. Our arrival time is 5:55 a.m...and our outgoing flight is 6:50 a.m. Is this going to be a problem?
That is just enough time if everything goes perfectly. You just have to go through Schengen Entry Passport Control and then to your departure gate.
Hi, just after some advice first time flying doing a connecting flight i will fly from newcastle to amsterdam and then onto Istanbul i have 3hours connection time i know this is enough time however would like some advice what happens once i land into amsterdam? Do i go theough passport control then onto gates or do i enter amsterdam airport as a bew passenger? Any advice and tips would be greatly appreciate. Thanks
All you do in Amsterdam is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. Since you are not entering the Schengen Area then you do not have to go through passport control.
Thanks for your reply. Will i have to go through to security again?
