No, you do not have to go through security again. All gates in Charlotte are connected inside security.
My baggage did not follow me from DFW to ORF on Jan 9th. It was sent instead sent to CLT on Jan 10th and remains there until someone puts it on a flight to ORF! I have called AA numerous times and they say they have sent messages to CLT and until someone sees the message all they can do is apologize for the delay. If someone from CLT monitors the Page please check your messages!
I missed my flight from houston to charlotte on SW, and will arrive about an hour after the missed flight, where can i find my bags at Charlotte airport?
Go to the Southwest bag office and ask them.
I am flying into CLT from Grand Cayman then changing planes to fly to Houston. Do I need to get my bag that I checked and go through Customs then recheck my bag again before I board my flight to Houston?
Yes, you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then go through security and to your departure gate.
connection flight from ny to houston to clt, and the time between the flights is 36 min, pls help is it enought
So you're connecting in Charlotte? Yes, that is enough time if your flight from New York is on-time. All gates in Charlotte are connected inside security.
I have lost one luggade at JFK. How do I regain it?
We are flying into Charlotte and have a 12 hour layover to and from our flight to Aruba. Will my luggage just transfer to the next plane? How about on the way back with customs. What is the procedure for a layover after customs check. Can I recheck bags at customs or will I have to go through the whole process on the next day flight?
Both times you will likely have to re-check your bag in the morning.
Hi- I am travelling with my child from Charlotte airport to Atkanta.
Then getting a connecting flight two hours later from Atlanta to Pensacola. We are UK citizens.
Will our luggage from the Charlotte flight be taken directly on to Pensacola flight by the airline or will we need to collect our luggage at Atlanta and re check in to the connecting flight to Pensacola?
If all tickets are on the same reservation then you won't have to do anything with your baggage in Atlanta. You just have to go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Will be flying in from Montego Bay to CLT by American Airlines at 4:30pm. Flying back out at 5:50 to ATL by American Airlines. Will I need to claim bags and recheck and will this be enough time?
Yes, in Charlotte you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, and re-check your bags at the re-check desk then go through security. The minimum time to do this is 90 minutes and your itinerary only gives you 80 minutes. It will be difficult if you don't get changed to a later flight to Atlanta.
Hi, We arrive on 6:55 in Charlotte from Tampa and have to get the flight at 7:50 to Munich, Germany and our luggage is already in Charlotte so we have to pick That up. Do you think we can get our flight?
If you actually have to exit the secure area to get some bagage it might be a bit tough.
PLane USAir lands form houston 13:41, need to catch Asheville 15:28 flight, will that be enough time for connection (passport control, luggage colleciton required?) Thanks
You do not have to go through passport control or baggage collection on Domestic flights. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You should have plenty of time. All gates at CLT are connected inside security.
