Looking for something to do in Charlotte while I'm waiting for a layover. We land at 6am and reboard at 12:15pm ...maybe a breakfast spot close or attraction?

There is nothing "walking distance" from CLT. It is located on its own in the middle of a forest.

Yes, that is enough time. Charlotte only has one Terminal.
What is the legal layover time for flights arriving from Aruba to CLT to TYS?
Aruba has US Immigration and Customs Preclearance, so all you have to do in Charlotte is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate, so 45 minutes is doable.
