Hello, we will be arriving from Cancun into CLT and will need to catch our domestic flight. So we will need to go through immigration. We only have an hour to do this and we will have checked bags. Is this adequate time to make it through the immigration process and catch our next flight? Many Thanks
An hour is really risky, especially with checked bags.
Will we have to also go through security again? I cant believe AA would set flights like this if it is so close!
Yes, you have to go through security again after you clear customs.
Arriving on American Airlines flight 1910 from West Palm Beach arriving at gate C 12 at 8:39 AM December 14 my connecting flight American Airlines flight 5040 is leaving from gate E18 @9:19 am I I have never been to this airport I’m concerned I am not a good walker I have some disabilities so timing is a concern and is Siri map I can look at thank you
You should have enough time. Charlotte only has one terminal and a fairly simple layout just follow the signs. If you have a lot of trouble walking you can request wheelchair service by calling American.
We will arrive on American #5245 1:44PM. Only shows "Terminal" C-6 on screen. We depart to FLL on Amer #1760 and shows Terminal 3 Gate E-7 .. Ihave COPD and AFIB.. How far is the distance between these two gates? Thanx for your help..
Charlotte only has one terminal. That "Terminal 3" gate you're looking at is your arrival gate in Fort Lauderdale.
My elderly Canadian boss will be travelling from Washington DC to Cayman via Charlotte. Please confirm that he just has to walk from his arrival gate to his departure gate, since he is already in the US and is staying on American Airlines.
Yes, that is all he has to do. There is no US Immigration or Customs when leaving the US.
