I am a non US citizen arriving this Monday at ORD T5 at 15.20 from LHR and then heading off to Denver from T2 at 16.35. Is this doable.

If not how much time should I leave?

I would be grateful for a quick response!

As far as I know no flights to Denver depart from T2. Do you mean T1 as you typed in the title? What airlines are you flying? Even if both flights are on the same reservation that's not reasonably enough time.
Yes - apologies I meant T2. Both flights are United Airlines.
Again, no flights to Denver depart from T2. A United flight to Denver would depart from T1. However, that is not enough time. You need at least 90 minutes.
Apologies - you are right! Thank you for the advice however. I have given now myself more time
Hi,
We have a BA flight 297 on 7/21/18 from Heathrow arriving at ORD at 6:45pm. Our connecting flight to SFO is on AA #1522 leaving at 8:15pm. Do we have enough time to clear customs and change planes?
Yes, that is just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
When arriving in ORD, from GRR, will I need to go through immigration? Or any type of security? In order to board my plane to YYZ(Toronto). I will be arriving in terminal 1 and leaving out of terminal two with a 2 hour layover.
There is no US Immigration or Customs when leaving the US. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have plenty of time.
We will be landing at terminal 5, on Sunday next month, flying Volais Airlines from Zihuatanejo, MX landing at 6pm (with checked bags). Then, flying SkyWest / United to Quincy, IL leaving at 7:55pm. It looks like they fly out of gate F17 or in that area. What will I need to do and do you think I will have time? Thanks, Jim
You realistically have no chance of making that. You have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, take the ATS Train to Terminal 1, re-check your bags with United, then go through security and walk all the way to the high F gates. I don't see a way that's realistically possible with checked bags unless the Volaris flight arrives very early.
Hi, I will be arriving to T5 at 7.00 AM I have my connecting flight from T2 to Detroit by Delta at 9.00 am. does Delta has a baggage counter/ check in after the CBP and the baggage area. if there is no Delta counter how do I go to T2 with my baggage.
What airline are you flying into T5? Is it two separate reservations or one reservation?
I will be coming by Air India . It is 2 different ticket .
You have to take your bags with you to Terminal 2 to re-check them at the Delta check-in desk using the ATS Train.
Thank you for the reply. I will be taking Delta -3537 this flight is operated by SkyWest . I hope this flight will depart from T2.
Yes, it will depart from Terminal 2.
I am looking at a flight from Providence, RI to Jackson Hole, Wyoming in August with United. The flight leaves PVD @ 7:15 arriving in ORD @ 9:15 on United Express (SkyWest) then leaves on an Airbus A320 @ 10:01. An 1hr 1 min layover with a chg of terminal. Is that enough time?
Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do in Chicago is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. All United gates are connected inside security.
I'm coming from Lincoln Nebraska on Friday, 2/16, into Terminal 2 on United Express at 7:07am. I have a 1 hour and 3 minute layover, not a lot of time. I depart on United Airlines for Montego Bay Jamaica out of Terminal 1 at 8:10am. What is the fastest way to get from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1 and will I have to go through a TSA check point somewhere between going from one terminal to the other?
You can just walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate inside security. You have enough time if the first flight is on-time.
Thank you for helping everybody. We arrive on United in terminal 1, and I believe it is concourse C. arrive 13:45. We leave from Terminal 1 15:50. Sounds like enough time, but leaving Denver, even in May is chancy because of weather, so good chance the plane could be late. It seems that there is no way to get from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 to take the shuttle, which I have read comes every 15-20 minutes, than to walk. It seems to be a long way. Since we have Global Entry, would it be likely to be faster to to take the airport train from Termnal 1 to Terminal 5 and go through security? It seems that most transfers would be taking the shuttle.
It is in fact possible to walk inside security from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3. There is no PreCheck in Terminal 5, so Global Entry won't save you time there. Where are you going and on what airline?
I will arrive in Terminal 1 on UA3459 and I am departing from Terminal 5 on TK6. Is the TTB running from Terminal 3 K20 to Terminal 5 today, February 10th, 2018? If TTB isn't running due to the construction, is it faster to get to Terminal 5 by getting to Terminal 3, and catching the Terminal to Terminal shuttle, or taking it from Terminal 1? In other words, does the Terminal to Terminal shuttle pick up at T1, T2, then T3, to go to T5? So would it be faster to go straight to T3 to catch it?
Yes, apparently the TTB is back in operation. If you take the ATS Train, it's faster to just take it from Terminal 1. It's kind of a long walk from T1 to T3.
If I understand it correctly, the TTB only runs from Terminal 3 K20, to go to Terminal 5. The advantage is not having to go through security in Terminal 5, if I understand it correctly. I am on a tight layover and that's why I am trying to figure out the fastest way to get from T 1 to T 5. Perhaps the time to walk from T 1 to T 3 is more than the security process in T 5?
Yes, you are correct. I don't know which would be faster, I'm just warning that it's not an insignificant walk from Terminal 1 to gate K20, especially if you arrive in concourse C.
The ATS train was the way to go to terminal 5. Perhaps it was the time of day, but the security check in Terminal 5 was quick, and I even got to my gate before the flight was boarding. Thanks for your assistance
Hi,

I am planning to fly from Louisville, KY to Calgary on Saturday, June 2. The flight from Louisville to ORD arrives at 2:28 pm and then the next flight departs at 3:45 pm to Calgary. The first flight is United Airlines so arriving at terminal 1 and I have to go to terminal 5 (WestJet). I am wondering if this would give me enough time. If so, which would be the fastest way, ATS or shuttle from terminal 3? I only have a carry-on luggage and I'm assuming that I can get both tickets at Louisville as they're alliance. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Thank you in advance.
United and WestJet do NOT have an alliance. You're going to have to take the ATS and hurry.
Thank you! I will get an earlier flight to ORD.
