United flight, transfer from C gate to E gate. 20 minutes between landing and boarding, 45 minutes between landing and departure. What's my best bet for making that happen?
Hope that the flight from Greenville-Spartanburg is on-time and run. If you miss your connection, United flies hourly flights from ORD to LGA.
Hello, my wife and I are arriving at ORD from MSP at 5:38 pm on Friday March 10th via American Airlines, our flight from ORD to DOH leaves at 6:55 PM March 10th via Qatar airways. Will be able to catch the flight to DOH or should I buy a earlier tickets to ORD?
If both flights are on the same reservation that should be just enough time. You will have to take the ATS Train to Terminal 5 and go through security.
I have only 50 minutes layover in ord and will have a check in baggage. Plus I will be traveling with a toddler. Is this doable?
What airline are you flying? You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Toronto. If both flights are on the same reservation then all you have to do in Chicago is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
United.
Then, yes, all you have to do in Chicago is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time if the flight from Toronto is on-time.
Thank you.
Hello

I'll be flying Qatar airways from DOHA to Toronto Via Chicago.
I have a 3 hour layover at ORD. Will this time be enough? And what is the procedure to go from Terminal 5 to Terminal 3?

Thanks
Yes, that should be enough time. You will arrive in T5, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then take the ATS Train to Terminal 3 and go through security.
We have a flight from YYZ to HNL with a 1 hr 10 min layover at ORD. Both flights are with united and we have checked baggage. Is this enough time? Will we need to collect luggage and re-check if both flights are in the same itinerary?
I have a 36 minute connection in Ord from Dtw-Rsw on American Airlines is this enough time
It's possible but depends on the flight from Detroit being on-time. It leaves no time to spare if it's not.
I'm flying UA from Sao Paulo to Newark on Feb 15th, with a 3h30 layover in Newark and catch another UA flight to Tampa, one reservation. Will I need to claim my bags and re-check it for flight to Tampa?
Yes, you need to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, and then go through security. Also, note that you asked this on the Chicago-O'Hare forum but you say you are connecting in Newark, is that correct?
Hi - travelling SGF to YYZ connecting in ORD with no checked baggage next Saturday.
Flights have been changed such that we only have a 54 min connection time in ORD now. Doable?

Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate, both in Terminal 3.

Hi I'm flying from Milwaukee and have a connecting flight in Chicago to Honolulu. It was much cheaper to book it from Milwaukee but I live in the Chicagoland area. Can I skip my flight from Milwaukee to Chicago and just get on the flight to Honolulu?
Most airlines will cancel the 2nd leg of your trip if you do not take the 1st leg. They do this to avoid booking ploys.
Yes, you will have to drive up to Milwaukee and take the flight to Chicago.
