CVG Gate Connections DISCUSSION

Im flying with delta and will be arriving at CVG > 5:30am
Connecting flight to YYZ > 7:00am

Will I have to go through security when I get to CVG and then come back in to concourse B? Is 1.5 hr enough for this layover? Thank you!
Does all Vacation Express Charter flight use the same terminal, which one is it.
Flt 904 Miami International leaves 18 may 2019 9:45am
Flying Delta and landing at 6:30AM EDT Terminal 1 and need to catch a connecting flight in Terminal 3 at 7:00 AM EDT. Can I make it and what is the best way to navigate? I will have a checked bag.
Terminal 1 at CVG is no longer used and in fact no longer exists. All flights are now in what used to be called Terminal 3. What airlines are you flying?
Delta. My company uses Tripit and it gave me a 'flight at risk' notification and listed both terminal 1 and 3 - so maybe it's just not been reprogrammed? Thanks for the speedy reply BTW - this is such a helpful site!
Yes, either Terminal 1 is actually the departure terminal for your first flight or it's mistaken. Delta has never used Terminal 1, and as I mentioned it no longer exists. Both gates will be on Concourse B of Terminal 3. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time if the first flight is on-time.
Thank you very much!!
I am landing at CVG thru allegiant airlines and need to get to the delta terminals. What is the best way to do that.
CVG now only has one terminal. Allegiant uses Concourse A and Delta uses concourse B. If you don't have checked bags you can go directly to your departure gate. If you have checked bags you have to go to the main terminal, claim your bags, re-check them with Delta, then go through security and to your departure gate.
What Terminal and/or concourse does Southwest Airlines use for arrivals and departures?
Concourse A and there's only one terminal.
I am arriving on delta from Paris at 4:15 and leaving on a United flight at 5:00. Is this enough time to get thru customs and over to the A terminal?
No, that's not possible. United uses the same terminal as everyone else in Cincinnati, just a different concourse.
I agree. I volunteer in the USO at CVG and we fly out of CVG 6-8 times a year. Four-five of those are international flights or connecting to an international flights in other cities. CVG makes you come thru a full security check when you arrive at CVG. That is after a fairly lengthy wait at passport control. It is not possible, even under the best of circumstances to clear passport control, then security, recheck your bag and change from B concourse to A concourse in that period of time.
Is there a rail service between Concourse A
Is there a rail service between Concourse A
Looking at booking flights. WIll I have enough time.

Flight DL 3389 arriving at 8:54am
Flight DL 803 departing at 9:45am

Can't be late. This is for work.
Yes, that should be enough time as long as the first flight is on-time. All you have to do in CVG is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate, all on the same concourse.
connecting,CVG international arriving delta 15h35 flight depart 16:05.
Is there too little time to make the connecting
Please clarify your itinerary, is he flying into Cincinnati from somewhere else at 1535 and then onto Paris or is he flying into Cincinnati at 1535 from Paris?
Thanks for the question. That is a tight connection time but he should be able to make it.
It will be VERY tight. You will have to check in for the Paris flight at your original departure city. And then you are supposed to check in with your passport at the gate for the Paris flight. Chances are you will land at the far end of one side of the concourse (always, always happens to us on a connecting flight) But you only have to go to the center of the concourse to connect. The international flight leaves from the gate nearest the center where the food court is. Please tell the flight attendant on the first flight that you have such a short connection and maybe, just maybe; if you are lucky and the attendant is a real customer oriented person, The flight attendant might make an announcement to let you (and others who need to connect) get off first. They will be loading your Paris flight before you even land so it WILL be tight --but possible. I would like to know if you actually made it.
