I'm flying AA (American Airlines) from YYZ (Toronto Canada) to HKG (Hong Kong) with layover at DFW.
1) Will I need to pick up checked luggage and go through customs/security and re-check? I'm hoping not since we are just at DFW for a quick transfer and it's not our destination! But I've asked friends and have gotten mixed feedback
2) We only have 75 mins for the layover. Is that enough time to get to the departure gate (no idea where it'll be! Is there a way to find this out in advance?) and enough time to get through securty/re-check baggage, if necessary? What happens if the first flight is late or it takes too long getting through security (i.e., not really my fault)? Will they put me on the next flight or I have to buy a new ticket?

Thanks so much for your help!!!
You pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Toronto. All you have to do on the way to Hong Kong in DFW is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
I am traveling with AA from Rapid City South Dekota via DFW to Phoenix.
Will I need to collect and recheck luggage in DFW?
No, you do not have to re-check your bags in DFW.
Hello, I am flying from Mexico City to Dallas and from Dallas to Madrid. I have just 1:40 hour there. Do I need to clear customs in Dallas since It is just a connecting flight?
Yes, In Dallas, you have to go through US Immigration, Customs, and Security. You have just enough time if everything goes perfectly.
Flight is meant to arrive in Terminal A from LAX at 12pm on American Airlines, then my transfer flight leaves at 1pm from Terminal C. Do I have to collect my bags/recheck them in as it is a connection? Will I have enough time?
You don't have to do anything with your bags. Just take the Skylink train from A to C. You have enough time if the first flight is on-time.
Will be arriving from Santiago at DFW and then connecting to Reno, NV (all on AA). Do I have to leave security after customs and then go thru security at Terminal D in order to catch the Skylink?
Yes, after you clear customs you are outside security. You have to go through security to access your departure gate.
Arriving from PEK via American Oct 18 4:50pm. Connection for ORD via American at 6:25pm Oct 18. Is this enough time to clear customs and get to connecting term/gate? And since both flights are on same carrier i assume bags will not need to be claimed?
You have to claim your bags to bring them through US Customs in Dallas, you then immediately re-check them. You have barely enough time if everything goes perfectly.
If I have about 40 minutes from Gate A20 and have to go to Gate D37 will I make my flight? What's the fastest way to get there? And how long should it take?
Take the Skylink train. You have just enough time if the first flight is on-time.
I need to know what terminal and gate is flight #3368 from Tyler Pounds to Atlanta Hartfield
The flight to an from Tyler will use Terminal B. The Atlanta flight will use A, C, or D (assuming it is also on American).
Do you have to go through immigration when you leave America through DFW airport?
Or any other airport in the states?
There is no US Immigration or Customs when leaving the US (from any airport).
Hi, i will have a flight next week operated by the same company ( united)
