My friend is landing in Detroit from Amsterdam and has a connecting flight to Seattle. She has 1.5 hrs in between.
1. Will she have to do customs / immigration at DTW?
2. Her flight in and out of DTW is Delta. Will she have to grab bags and then re-check them in?
3. Is 1.5 hrs enough time?
Yes, she will go through US Immigration, claim her bags, go through US Customs, re-check her bags at the re-check desk, then go through security and to her departure gate. She has enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Flying to DTW from GRR to connect a International flight to CUN is on hour layover enough time. Will we have to be rescreened through TSA
If both flights are on Delta all you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
Flying Delta into DTW from Minneapolis and connecting to Buffalo. Is 45 minutes enough time to make the connection?
Yes, that is enough time if the first flight is on-time.
I am arriving with DL139 on the 19th:

(customs, immigration etc)

Henny

Yes, that is enough time if everything goes smoothly.
If i am flying from kansas city on Delta and have 30 minute layover on my connecting delta flight. Will that be enought time
Yes, it's possible but it leaves absolutely no time to spare.
OK, where us EM in relation to Concourse A? I’m coming in on a commuter from Saginaw to EM and leaving for Boston from Concourse A! Then returning the opposite way!
Concourse A is part of the McNamara Terminal (Terminal "EM") All your flights are in the McNamara Terminal. Terminal A is your arrival/departure Terminal in Boston. Perhaps that is why you are confused.
OK, thanks very much!
Where is terminal EM in relation to terminal A.?
EM is the McNamara Terminal - Delta's Terminal.

There is no "Terminal A" in Detroit. Concourse A is the main concourse of the McNamara Terminal.
I have Delta flights from Toronto to Detroit and a connection to Japan. I have only 55 minutes to change at DTW. Do I have to make the Immigration at US? Or is it just a domestic to international connection? Is 55 min enough time?
You pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Toronto. So all you have to do on the way to Japan is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. On the way back to Toronto if you follow the same route, you will have to go through US Immigration and Customs in Detroit. You should have enough time.
hello, me and my toddler will be arriving DTW tomorrow and reconnecting to Kansas City. i got heavy luggages, and will need help lifting up and bringing it to recheckin area. is there a place i can rent this service in the airport?
There is no such service. What airline are you arriving on and from where?
I'll arrive from an Air france flight next 6th july at Detroit airport to take an other Delta flight. Layover is only 1h30 minutes long . Is it enough for custom and luggages ?
That's just enough time if everything goes smoothly, but be aware that the schedule will probably change between now and July.
