Flying from Louisville, KY to Seoul, South Korea January 15th.
I’m flying Delta both ways and have a 44 min layover in Detroit.

It’s my first international flight, so I’m not sure if I need to recheck my bags and go through security again... or if I justness go from one gate to the other like I do with domestic flights.

Should I change to a flight with a larger layover time??
All you have to do on your way to Seoul is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. There is no US Customs when leaving the US. You have enough time.
I am arriving from Monterrey Mexico on a delta Flight. Need to transfert to another delta flight to Montréal Canada.
Do I need to claim my lugage and go through security again?
Yes, you have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate.
The information provided was wrong.
Since I was travelling with both flight on Delta, I did not need to claim my bags.
If I am flying in on a Delta flight from Nashville to DTW, but only have a 30 min layover before my flight to Shanghai, is that enough time?
It's possible but leaves no time to spare if the flight from Nashville is delayed. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
How do I know which terminal an arriving flight will be at?
If you are flying Delta, Air France, Aeromexico, or KLM you will arrive in the McNamara Terminal.

If you are flying any other airline you will arrive in the North Terminal.
What terminal at DTW is United Airlines flight #3650 arriving at on Tuesday, Nov. 21 at 6:13 PM?
All United flights use the North Terminal in Detroit
My son is traveling from Rochester NY to Denver Colorado with hour and a half layover in Detroit. Are gates usually near each other or clear across the terminal? If he asked when he gets off plan for someone to take him to his gate is that possible?
How young is he. If he isn't a small child then he shouldn't have any trouble finding his gate. The Delta terminal in Detroit is very simple.
He is 20....but a little challenged.
Ok thank you.
Do I need to go through TSA between connecting domestic flights if I dont leave the terminal?
No, you do not.
Do I need to go through TSA between connecting domestic flights if I do my leave the terminal?
I am traveling from Rochester NY to Houston with a 33 minute layover in Detroit on Nov.29. Could you tell me if my connection is in the same terminal? I'm stressing I may not make it.
All Delta flights are on the same terminal. if both flights are on Delta you can make it if the first flight is on-time.
I've never been through DTW. I am flying in on Delta with a 35 min layover connection on Endeavor Air. Both have delta flight numbers but I know Endeavor is a subsidiary so not sure if it operates out of the same terminal. Will this be enough time between flights in January? We will be traveling with 3 young children.
Yes, it is in the same terminal. Both of your gates will probably close to each other. You have enough time if the first flight is on-time.
Ok thank you!
