I am looking for a Silver Airways flight from Key West to FLL arriving around 10:21 am in the terminal 1, and my next one is a Spirit flight to LGA departing at 11:35 am in the terminal 4. Those two are separated, and it leaves me around an hour for connection. I don't have any checked bags. Can I make it?
Or I could choose to fly on United from FLL to EWR departing at 11:56 am. Since both of them are in Terminal 1, one and half hour is enough to make the connection. Am I right?
I think you could make either, but the United connection would be a lot easier and safer.
My flight arrives in FLL from Barbados on JetBlue at 10:30am on a Sunday and my connection is at 11:42am on American Airlines. Is that enough time to make it through customs and make my connecting flight? This is the first time at FLL airport. Any suggestions?
Thanks for your response in advance.
No, that is not enough time, especially if you have checked bags.
At FLL, my sister is landing at Terminal 3 and the rest of the family will be coming in to Terminal 2. After she gets her bag, will she need to go outdoors to get to Terminal 2? If yes, is it covered? She will be rolling her luggage. Worried about rain. Thanks.
Yes, Terminal 3 and Terminal 2 are not connected in any way and the way between them is not covered.
Hello. I have a Southwest flight from Atlanta to FLL that arrives at 10:15pm. Then I have a connecting flight with Norwegian to London in a different terminal at 11:30pm. Is that enough time to get from one terminal to another with no checked bags? Thanks
With no checked bags that's barely enough time as long as you are able to check in for your Norwegian flight online.
So are you saying it’s not enough time? Or it is?
I have a flight from Europe with Norweigan to FLL that arrives at 6:30 pm. Can I clear customs and make a connection with Spirit airlines at 8:20 pm to Myrtle Beach?
Thank you
With no checked bags you might have a chance. With checked bags I don't think it's possible.
Am flying from Nassau to FLL, arriving 330p. Next leg of flite is at 5p to SMF. Both flites are on Southwest. Will I have sufficient time to catch the 5p flite? Will I need to gather luggage at customs then recheck? Will I be in same Terminal? I have Global Entry/Mobile Pass. Thanks!!
Yes, that is plenty of time. You pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Nassau. All you have to do in FLL is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Since it's not a SW scheduled itinerary connection, (I built the itinerary NAS-FLL and separately FLL-SMF). Do I need to gather bags and recheck it thru security for the outbound flite? Think I can request NAS agents to check bags thru to SMF? Thanks for your input!
Will be arriving at FLL from Detroit 10:11 and have to connect to a flight at 10:56 to Jamaica both are jet blue
That is enough time if the first flight is on-time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Thanks for your response!
I arrive with Norwegian airlines flight 7031 at 7.15 pm to FLL, departing from FLL with Spirit Airlines at 8.34 pm.
Do I have enough time to go through passport control and customs?
I only have carry-on. No checked luggage.

No, that is not realistically enough time.
Thanks for the response!

What is the approximate layover time that you would recommend for such an itinerary?
I wouldn't really consider anything less than 2.5 hours.
I will be flying into FLL from SJO at 6:54pm. I will have a two hour and fifteen minute layover before heading to Cleveland at 9:09pm. Both flights are with JetBlue. I will have checked bags.
That should be enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Thank you so much!!
Arriving from Cartegena at 6:30 pm; departing for DCA at 7:54 (Jet Blue both legs, 1 checked bag.) Is this enough time?
That is just enough time if everything goes perfectly.
