I am traveling to San Diego, California, USA from Cairo, Egypt, with my wife and a 16 months toddler.
We all have Egyptian passports and will have a 1h 40m layover at Frankfurt, Germany.
Both flights are through Lufthanza.
Will this be enough time or will it be very short
would like to take train to Frankfurt, get something to eat and look around old city then back to airport. Is there enough time? Also a place to lock up our Carry on luggage?
I have a 7 hour stopover and would like to explore the city. Arriving from Canada (US passport). Am I required to retrieve my luggage or will it transfer automatically even if I leave the airport?
It will transfer automatically if it is tagged to your final destination. So yes, you can leave the airport.

Hi there,

I am checking flights Baku- Madrid and I came across with a few flights through Frankfurt with 1 hour layover (Lufthansa) . I am a bit concerned if they can make it to the next flight, as the layover isn't too short.

Please confirm if 1 hour layover in Frankfurt is OK?
