Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
HHN Airport has security checkpoints located in both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. In Terminal 1, the security checkpoint is located on the ground floor, near the entrance to the departure area. In Terminal 2, the security checkpoint is located on the first floor, near the entrance to the departure area. It is recommended that passengers arrive at the airport at least two hours before their flight to allow enough time for security screening.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
The airport offers a Fast Track service for passengers who want to bypass the regular security lines. The Fast Track service is available in both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. In Terminal 1, the Fast Track lane is located near the regular security checkpoint on the ground floor. In Terminal 2, the Fast Track lane is located near the regular security checkpoint on the first floor. Passengers can purchase the Fast Track service online or at the airport.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
Passport and immigration control at HHN is located in the arrivals area of both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Passengers arriving from outside the Schengen Area will need to go through passport control before collecting their luggage. After passport control, passengers will proceed to the baggage claim area to collect their luggage. Passengers arriving from within the Schengen Area will not need to go through passport control, but will still need to collect their luggage in the baggage claim area.
Airport Lounge Locations
Frankfurt Hahn Airport has a few lounges available for passengers to relax in before their flight. The main lounge at the airport is the Priority Pass Lounge, which is located in the Departures area of Terminal 2. This lounge is available to all passengers, regardless of their airline or class of service. It offers comfortable seating, complimentary snacks and drinks, and free Wi-Fi.
In addition to the Priority Pass Lounge, there is also the Lufthansa Business Lounge located in Terminal 1. This lounge is only available to Lufthansa Business Class passengers, as well as Star Alliance Gold members. Baggage Claim Areas
Frankfurt Airport has several baggage claim areas located in both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
