I am flying from Toronto (YYZ) to Houston, than Houston to Liberia, Costa Rica and have 50 minutes to make that Costa Rica flight. Both flights are with United, will I have enough time to catch my second flight and do I need to go through US customs in Houston ?
I have 51 min to change terminals... still don't know which terminal I will arrive in and wich one I will depart from. Is the internal train frequent and fast enough to move from one terminal to another? And, will I have to pass through security check and immigration again even if I did that in the Washington airport? I read something about TerminaLink (skyway) providing for those with connecting flights in different terminals and sterile airside connections. And that this allows passengers to travel within the airport without having to re-enter security. How does that work?
Yes, the train runs frequently. There is no US Immigration when leaving the US, nor will you have to go through security. Yes, the Skyway train runs between all terminals inside security. All you do is go up to the train, get on, and take it to the terminal you need to go to.
I am flying from mga to yyc with a 1hr and 20min layover in IAH. Do I have to clear customs and if so is that layover enough time?
Yes, in Houston you have to go through US Immigration, Customs, and Security. That is less time than I recommend (90 minutes bare minimum).
How can seniors change terminals for a connection flight?
Like any other person. The Skyway train connects all terminals inside security.
Is a 55 minute connection from a domestic flight (Terminal C) to an international flight (Terminal D) enough time?
If both flights are on the same reservation, yes it is.
I fly in from Calgary. Going to depart from Houston to cancun. I have no checked bag. Do I have to go through security or can just check in online and take the skytrain to terminal E. I fly into terminal A.I have 2 hours. Fly in on westjet. Fly out united
If you are able to check in online you can take the Skyway directly to Terminal E and go to your departure gate. You should have enough time.
Our flights are DIA to Houston, TX, US (IAH - Intercontinental) with a 50 min transfer at IAH for our flight to Puerto Vallarta, MX (PVR) on a Thursday morning departure. And then on return PVR to IAH with a 1 hr 50 min transfer to our flight from IAH to DIA on Sunday late afternoon. Are these IAH transfer times sufficient? I am a US citizen, with carry-on only, seated in the front business seats.
Those are sufficient transfer times.
I am a NZ citizen arriving on a flight from Auckland into Houston and I only have one 1 hour and 30 minutes to clear US customs/immigration etc. and get to the gate for my connecting flight to Chicago. Is this enough time?

Yes, that is just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
United has this connection. Is it possible
If the first flight is domestic, yes, it is possible as all you have to do on the way to Costa Rica is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. Also, Liberia, Costa Rica is LIR, not LIB. LIB is Limbunya, Australia.
In Houston, will we need to go through immigration to Mexico or is that done at Guadalajara? We will enter via US Customs at Calgary on our flight to Houston. Our connecting flight in Houston is 90 minutes. Do we have enough time?
All you do in Houston on the way to Guadalajara is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. you go through Mexican Immigration and Customs in Mexico. You have enough time.
