Hello! I'm looking at flights from Toronto to Quito, Ecuador via Houston. Will a two hour layover be enough time? If I fly Air Canada to Houston and United Airlines to Quito, will I have to pick up my bags and recheck them? I'm worried this won't be enough time, but the only other option is a six hour layover.
You pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Toronto. All you have to do in Houston on the way to Quito is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate on the Skyway train. 2 Hours is enough time.
Hi, We are a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) with French passports + ESTA. Flying on Sunday 11/2 from London to Cancun with connection at IAH, all the way with United. We have 1h45 to connect. Will it be sufficient to go through security & immigration without too much stress?
Many thanks in advance.
That is enough time if everything goes smoothly but doesn't leave much time to spare.
I'm soon buying a flight ticket from New orleans (MSY) to honolulu (HNL) and will have a connecting flight in huston. will 1h 05 min be enough time to go from gate to gate. and since I've never been to that airport before will it be a security control or is it different from domestic and international connections. or would you recommend buying the other ticket that has 3h layover?
Yes, that is enough time. You do not have to go through security. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
On 2nd Feb 2018 , I am flying in from Monterrey to Houston ETA 8.30am and catch a connecting flight to Japan at 10.30am. Is 2 hrs enough to clear customs ? The travel arrangement is done on 1 ticket from the carrier . If there is delays in flight or customs , will the carrier provide a rescheduled flight arrangements?
Yes, that should be enough time. Yes, if your flight from Monterrey is delayed you will be rebooked to Tokyo.
For the info , I appreciate the fast reply. I was getting worried about the transit time
