Getting Around the Airport
Indianapolis Airport has one main terminal referred to as 'Midfield Terminal' with Concourses A and B and three levels. The main terminal features a soaring architecture and abundant natural light. Passengers with tickets can easily move between the concourses without the need for re-screening, and moving walkways connect the passenger terminal to the attached parking garage.
The Main Terminal consists of three levels:
The Arrivals Level houses the baggage claim and FIS/US Customs for International Arrivals, with baggage claim and airline baggage offices. The USO lounge is on the east wall near the baggage carousel 3. You will also find two pet relief area just outside this level on both ends as well as a taxi pickup stand. There is a Travelex currency exchange facility next to the Farmer’s Fridge kiosk, a Hair Departure barbershop near the United Airline baggage service office, and two Visitor Information Centers in the midst of this level. You can also find a Mother’s Nursing Room near the American Airlines baggage service office.
The Pedestrian Bridge Level leads to ground transportation and parking garage.
The Departures Level houses ticketing counters with access in the center to the Civic Plaza and separate spacious security checkpoints for Concourses A and B on either side offering the most advanced screening technologies. These come with designated lanes for frequent flyers, casual travelers, families with small children, and those with special needs. After passing the security check, passengers can proceed to either Concourses A or B (both have moving walkways). To connect between Concourses A & B, use the concourse-connecting hallway. Haflich Meditation Room / Chapel is located near one of the four ticketing counters on the East side.
Expedited security lanes for IND registered travelers holding and iQueue Priority Pass are available on-line or on-site registrations (at CivicPlaza 6 am-6 pm) are accepted.

Concourse A(on the East side) houses gates A3-A25 and is served by Air Canada, Delta Airlines, Spirit Airlines, United Airlines, and Vacation Express.
There is an ATM near the Delta Sky Club, next to the Farmer’s Fridge kiosk. Near Gate A16 there is a Children’s Play Area open to all families. Water bottle filling stations can be found at Gate A10. Near this area, there are also shoeshine services available.

Concourse B (on West side) houses gates B3-25 and is served by Alaska Air, Allegiant Air, American Airlines, Frontier Airlines, and Southwest Airlines.
There is an ATM between the Just Pop In! And TUMI stores near Gate B6. Near Gate B12 there is a Children’s Play Area open to all families. Water bottle filling stations can be found at Gate B13. Near Gate B9 there are also shoeshine services available.

Food, Shops & Amenities
There are many options for shopping and dining around the IND airport. Some notable shops and restaurants include Chick-Fil-A, Nature’s Table, and Trip Advisor in the Civic Plaza; Fountain Square Market, Starbucks, and Hudson in Concourse A; and Champps, The Fan Zone, and CNBC in Concourse B.
The security checkpoints at the IND airport are monitored by the Federal TSA - Transportation Security Administration. Only passengers possessing tickets are allowed to proceed beyond any of the security checkpoints. All security checkpoints provide access to the concourses and airplane gates.

There is only one airline lounge available at the IND Airport. Delta Sky Club is located at the entrance of Concourse A, past the security checkpoint area. Free WiFi, magazines and newspapers, snacks and drinks, and private restrooms make the passengers more relaxed and comfortable.
International Arrivals & Transfers
Passengers will arrive at either gate A4 or A5 and will be directed to FIS/US Customs, part of the Arrivals Level. There, they go through passport control, pick up bags, go through customs clearance and - if continuing flight -proceed to the Departures level, go through either the Concourse A or B security checkpoint and on to their connecting gate.
- Arrive 90 minutes before flight time in case of domestic flights, and two hours before flight time in case of international flights.

- Contact the airline for lost items inside the aircraft
- All screening equipment at airport security checkpoints is safe for all travelers, including women who are pregnant
