I would like to pick up some MAC cosmetics but I see there is only one MAC store in terminal 4. I am traveling from terminal 7. are there any other stores where I can pick up MAC cosmetics from terminal 7 or pre-order and pick up MAC goods from terminal 7? Thanks
I highly doubt a cosmetics store would be willing to deliver product to another terminal for you. If you don't have a few hours to make the trip to Terminal 4, you'll have to go without.
We'll be using Singapore Airline to send our 8yo. daughter to Australia from NY JF Kennedy by herself. What's the next step I need to do to make sure everything is going smooth?
At JFK, when checking in, ask the attendant at the Singapore airline counter for a 'non-flying boarding pass' enabling you to accompany her to the gate. Singapore Airline uses Terminal 4 whose concourse level has A2-A6 at left & gates B20-31 at right. To make sure, you may want to inquire at the Australian embassy whether you will need a passport and/or Visa for her (as is now required in Europe).
You also need to make sure she is flying as an unaccompanied minor. An 8 year old cannot travel alone who is not registered as an unaccompanied minor.
Arrive JFK - AER LINGUS 20JUN @ 1:15pm - Will I arrived on T4? Departing JFK - 20JUN @ 4:29pm - Will I depart from T7? Is there enough time to get from T4 to T7? Do I have to clear customs and go through TSA?
What airline are you flying to Phoenix?
I fly AER LINGUS from Dublin to JFK and then US AIRWAYS from JFK to PHX.
My son has a 4 hour stopover tomorrow evening in Terminal 4. Ideally, I want to be able to meet him and have dinner together before he gets on his next flight. I'm just wondering if this is possible. I'm assuming that I won't be allowed to pass through security and go in without a ticket. If he comes out through security, are there any terminals where we can go sit down and eat without needing a ticket?
While the bulk of restaurants/bars are located in the secured areas of the JFK terminals, there are some available at pre-security. I suggest you open www.ifly.com/jfk, then click on "Airport Information", top left and on "Restaurants, Bars & Shops". Then click on any of the terminals and you find restaurants, etc. after shops (with details and map where to find them. (From Terminal to Terminal, take the 'Airline Terminals Train' serving pre-security areas.
