I am arrivinf at 8:15 Pm on Delta domestic flight at JFK DL 3994 and connecting to 10 PM Ethiad EY 101 to Abu dhabi from terminal 4 as well. I have checked luggage. Do I have enough time for connection.
Hello. This will be my 1st international trip, so I'm unfamiliar with what to expect when I arrive at JFK on American Airlines from Milan and need to connect to a flight to Boston also on American, same ticket. My arrival time right now is 1:30p departing at 3:20p. I think it's the same terminal, but they haven't told me that yet. (Iberia site listed them both as Terminal 8, but I booked directly through American.) Do I have enough time and what will I need to do when arriving? Thank you very much!
Yes, both flights are in Terminal 8. You will arrive, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate. You have enough time if everything goes smoothly.

Thanks for the reply. To be clear, this is the return leg of my 1st International trip as I'm a US citizen but haven't flown internationally before. Does the US Immigration stop still apply to me?
My flight lands at 10pm in JFK and my Emirates flight from JFK to Dubai is at 11:45. Will 1hr 45 minutes be enough to make the transfer? I'm travelling business class from JFK to Dubai so will there be a dedicated line to clear security? No check-in luggage, just one carryon.
What airline are you flying from Detroit? With no checked bags you should have enough time.
I’m on Delta’s comfort +
OK, that helps because then if you arrive in Terminal 4 you can go directly to your Emirates departure gate or the Emirates Lounge.
Arriving JFK from BOS at 6:41 AM and departing to CUR at 8:51 AM, both flights Jet Blue. Will we stay in Terminal 5? Can we check the bags through in BOS? Any other problems which could screw up the connection?
Yes, both flights will be in Terminal 5 and your bags will go through to Curacao. All you have to do on the way to Curacao is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have plenty of time.
We're scheduled on Air France from RALEIGH DURHAM at NY (JOHN F KENNEDY INTL), TERMINAL 4 arriving at 14:52 and then to depart from JFK TERMINAL 1at 16:20 also on Air France (showing last check-in at 15:20). Is that enough time for the transfer...and do we need to do security again, assuming RDU checks baggage through?
You will already be checked in for both flights by Delta in RDU. All you have to do in JFK is take the AirTrain from Terminal 4 to Terminal 1 then go through security. You should have enough time.
Many thanks ZAP! The RDU-JFK leg is now showing as Endeavor Air, but with AF flight No. And for the sake of completeness, one traveller is UK national...Will that make any difference?
Nationality makes no difference, there is no US Customs when leaving the US.
Hi. My son is travelling LHR TO PDX via JFK on a through ticket with Delta. He has a speech problem and finds it difficult to ask for help so am trying to make it as stress free as possible for him. I believe the flight arrives and leaves from terminal 4 but have read some horror stories about no Delta staff on hand to help and people missing the baggage drop off? Can anyone tell me how difficult it is? where the bag drop actually is? Thanks
Hi...I understand that I have to transfer between terminals from my domestic flight (ROC to JFK arrive at T5) in order to make my connection for (JFK to BEG leave at T4) using AirTran but for someone traveling with lots of luggage is SkyCap/Porter or other service available to help with that transfer (whom to contact)?
There is no such service when going between terminals.
