I am flying from MBJ to BWI in Baltimore connecting in JFK where is my connecting terminal?
What airlines are you flying?
Virgin/Delta London-JFK-Washington flight in August. Both flights on same ticket. Only 1h 25m between flights. Is this sufficient time to get through customs, immigration - I understand that the first port of entry is where you must now clear immigration - and check in bag to Washington.
I am guessing it is enough time, as surely the airline wouldn't sell the ticket if not. Sounds very tight though. Thank you.
No, that is not enough time. Minimum is 90 minutes with 2 hours recommended.
I am flying from santo domingo on jetblue, then flying to seoul on korean air, with a 4hrs layover at JFK. I am buying the tickets separately from every airline. Is 4hrs enough time?, Whats the process i have to make?
You will arrive in Terminal 5, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, take the AirTrain to Terminal 1, re-check your bags with korean, and go through security. You should have enough time.
This is my first time traveling to JFK, New York airport. Can you please explain and direct me carefully when arriving terminal 5 and how do I get to terminal 8 for departure?
I assume you're arriving on JetBlue? From where? What airline are you flying out on? To where? Do you have checked bags?
Good evening
I'm flying in from Johannesburg, South Africa on South African Airways. I need to catch a connecting flight to Chicago on Delta. Would a 2 hour 50 minute overlay be enough time to be sure to make my connecting flight.
I have no idea whether I need to get from one terminal to another.
Please advise
Thanking you in anticipation

That would be just enough time if everything goes smoothly. Both flights would be in Terminal 4.
Thank you , for the thumbs up ZAP
Flying Delta from ATL to JFK with 1 1/2 hour layover before flight from JFK to EDI. Is that enough time? Will we have to switch terminals?
You may or may not have to change terminals. But if you arrive in Terminal 2, Delta runs a shuttle inside security to Terminal 4 where you depart. You have enough time if the first flight is on-time.
My daughter is flying into JFK from Copenhagen on Sunday, August 27, arriving at 8:05pm (terminal 5). She will be flying to Boston on Jetblue (terminal 1) departing at 11:38pm. Is 3.5 hours enough time for her to make her Boston connection (i.e. go through US passports and customs and pick up her suitcase (terminal 5), catch the train to terminal 1, and go through security at terminal 1 before boarding the Jetblue flight)?
You have the terminals reversed. She arrives in Terminal 1 and departs from Terminal 5. That should be enough time.
My grandmothers flight from Orlando on Delta got bumped back to 5:40pm arrival. She has a connecting flight on Virgin Atlantic to LHR at a 6:30 departure. Will she need to claim her bag and go through security? If not, will that be enough time for her to catch her connecting flight? Thank you.
If it's one reservation she just has to go from her arrival gate to her departure gate. If she arrives in Terminal 2, Delta runs a shuttle bus inside security to Terminal 4 where she departs. In that case it's enough time, but doesn't leave much to spare.
Hi. I will be arriving early morning (5 am) with Avianca from Colombia (terminal 4), and then leaving JFK the same day by Aeroflot (terminal 1) at 7 pm. It is one ticket, the entire itineary appears in both systems (AV and SU) though they have differents PNR. Any chance my bag will make it all the way to SVO from Colombia without getting it at JFK?
You WILL have to claim your bag at JFK to take it through US Customs.
I'm flying to Zurich from PHX transferring from Delta to Swiss at JFK. I have 2 hours lay-over, is that enough time to go from Delta to the Swiss departure gate?
Is it one reservation or two separate reservations?
