I am arriving JFK on Singapore Airlines at 12 PM and I will have a connecting flight on Delta to SYR at 4:55 pm. I am wondering if there is a Delta check-in counter right outside the customs at T4? Or I have to re-check baggage at the departure level of T4?
You will have to take your bags up to the departure level.
I am flying into JFK on American Airlines and I need to get to Delta for my next flight. I only have two hours. Is this enough time?
Is your first flight domestic or International? Do you have checked bags? Where are you flying from and to?
My first flight is international coming from Rome. Yes I will have one checked bag. I'm flying to Colorado Springs via Delta once I get to JFK.
That will be very difficult. you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, take the AirTrain to Terminal 2 or 4, re-check your bags with Delta, and go through security.
My flight from Rochester ny will arrive at 7:03am at terminal 5. My intl flight from ny is at 10am. Do I have enough time to check in Cathay pacific at terminal 8? How long will it take to transfer from T5 to T8?
Yes, that should be enough time. Actually getting between terminals will only take you about 10-15 minutes on the AirTrain.
In may our flight leaves bos at 6 and arrives at JFK at 7:24, and our flight from JFK leaves at 8:35. We are flying delta. Is this enough time to deboard, transfer to the next gate and reboard? Will my luggage make the flight? It is a single reservation. Will we need to go through security again?
Yes, that is enough time. You won't have to go through security again. If you arrive in Terminal 2 and depart from Terminal 4, Delta runs a shuttle between them inside security.
On June 29, I will arrive on an American Airlines flight at 4:08 p.m. I assume that will be at terminal 8. My next flight is on Emirates at 11:00 p.m. (from terminal 4 presumably). I will have checked bags, and the flights are not on the same reservation. What is the easiest way to handle this?
You will have to claim your bags in T8, take them on the AirTrain to T4, re-check them with Emirates (the Emirates desk may not be open at that time, it would be open by 8 PM), then go through security and to your gate.
HI, my flight arrives at terminal 8 at 16.05 and leaves at terminal 1 at 17.55. Do I have enough time to make it? How do I transfer between the two?
The AirTrain connects all terminals outside security. Where are you flying from and to and on what airlines? Are both flights on the same reservation or is it two separate reservations? Do you have checked bags?
I am flying from Tucson to New York with American Airlines and from New York yo Rome with Alitalia. it is the same reservation, so I don't need to check my bags. Thanks for your reply!
