Hi I'm hoping you can let me know if I have enough time, I'm flying in to JFK from FLL with jetblue (terminal 5?) at 8.42am then flying out of JFK to BNE on Korean Air (terminal 1?) at 12pm, will I have enough time to make my second flight? They'll be separate tickets.
Yes, that should be enough time.
Hi, I am flying from RDU to France with layover at JFK. I am arriving at JFK at 17:45 and departing at 19:05 both Delta Airlines. Believe I will be arriving at Terminal 4 and departing from Terminal 1. Do I have enough time to make the connecting flight ? What is the quickest way to go between terminals ? Do I have to collect bag, re-checkin and go through security again ? I will have 1 check-in bag.with me.
The only way between terminals is the AirTrain. You don't have to do anything with your bag in JFK on your way to France. You should have enough time.
Thanks for the reply. Is the AirTrain a complimentary service ? Is this located outside the airport and do I have to repeat security clearance or is this just between terminals and I land staright near the departing gate ?
Hi, I'm landing at JFK T4 at 8.15am and have to take another flight on a different airline at 10.30am, also at T4. Do I have enough time to check-out, clear immigration and check-in again?
Where are you flying into JFK from and where are you flying to? What airlines are you on?
Flying into JFK from Rome at 2:30pm and will be flying from JFK to Dayton, OH airline is Delta
You just have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate. All in Terminal 4. You have enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Flying into JFK T4 on Emirates at 8.15am and departing at 10.30am on Virgin. Enough time?
Audrey, that is barely enough time if everything goes perfectly.
Question, I am flying from Rome into JFK in February on one ticket and will have a seperate ticket to fly from JFK back to Dayton, OH. Our flight lands at JFK at 2:30pm how long should be plan for getting through customs and to our next gate? I am looking at flights times now to fly back to Dayton OH. Thanks!
On two separate reservations and with checked baggage I would want at least 3 hours.
Hi. I am flying from Charleston to Amsterdam with a 45-minute layover at JFK. In 45 minutes I have to make it from Terminal 2 to Terminal 4 using AirTrain, I believe. I was told I don't have to get/recheck my bag or go through security again. Will I have enough time? Thanks very much.
Btw, my tickets are on one reservation and are with Delta.
You don't have to use the AirTrain. Delta runs a shuttle bus between T2 and T4 inside security. Use that. You have just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Thank you very much for the reassurance.
Hi! i am flying from Barbados to South Korea, landing in JFK for a connection. My flights are BGI to JFK with jetblue and then JFK to ICN with Asiana Airlines. I have about 2h and 23min connection time in JFK. The flights are connected on the ticket and Jetblue codeshares with Asiana Airlines. Is this enough time?
Yes, that is just enough time if the flight from Barbados is on-time.
Hello all, i'll fly from milan to chicago, landing in JFK for connection. As far as i can see the terminal of arrival in JFK is the 4, the same of the second fly. I have about 2h and 30 between the first fly and the second. Is it enough time?
What airlines are you flying? Are your tickets on one reservation or two separate reservations?
Delta Airlines, it's one reservation
Yes, that should be enough time if the first flight is on-time.
Hi everyone,
I am flying from paris CDG with delta to JFK and then connecting to Miami .
My flight is scheduled to arrive at 1:20 pm but I've checked the past flights and it always arrives closer to 2 pm. My connecting flight leave at 3. It is one single ticket - does this mean I don't have to pick up my luggage and recheck it in ? Will I have enough time ?
Thanks !!
You have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate. If you miss your connection they can likely rebook you to Miami through Atlanta.
Thanks for the heads up.
I'm flying business and then delta one for domestic, if I miss it will they rebook me in the same class ?
Yes, they will as long as there is availability. If there is only availability in coach they will give you the option to either ride in coach or on the next flight with First class available.
I'm flying DELTA/VIRGIN from Richmond, VA, to London via JFK. arriving terminal 2 or 4, departing terminal 4 to London with 90 minute layover time. Will be checked all the way through. Do I have enough time?
Both flights will be in Terminal 4. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
I would like to know if my connection time is enough...i have 1h45 between my 2 flights with Delta Airlines both in Terminal 4. I know i have to clear immigration and us customs then recheck my bag and go through security again....well im very stressful about missing my flight to punta cana and i wonder why delta is booking passengers with such tight connections....If they do it that might mean it is possible? i secure the phone number of delta airline of terminal 4 in case im in a you think they'll help me catching my flight?
Where are you flying into JFK from? No, calling them won't do anything and will just waste your own time.
Quebec city YQB
It is a tight connection but it is possible.
