I will be flying into JFK from Austin with Delta then have a connecting flight 7 hours later from JFK to Singapore with Singapore Airlines, do I have to collect my luggage in JFK? Anywhere I can take a shower in between?
Do you have to do security
You're going to have to be more specific on what carriers, where you're coming from, and where you're going.
Thank you. I will be traveling to Croatia. I will arrive in terminal 5 (Jet Blue) continue to terminal 4 ( Air Serbia). Going from terminal to terminal...will I have to go through security
I fly into JFK from Orlando with JetBlue then have a connecting flight from JFK to Manchester with Thomas Cook, will I have to collect my luggage in JFK?
If it's all on one reservation then you do not. If it's two separate reservations you do.
I have flight from clevaland to JFK on Delta Airways. And I have to take another flight from JFK to Abu Dhabi- Eithad airways. I am Two different different ticket. 1 ticket from Clevland to JFK and 2 ticket from JFK to Abu dhabi. Should I have to collect the baggage in JFK and exit the airport and have to come inside through departure gate. Or do I have to go inside from arrival terminal to departure terminal
Yes, you will have to claim your bags from Delta, re-check them with Etihad, and go through security in JFK. Both flights should be in Terminal 4.
In December, I'd like to fly MSP-JFK-MAD, both Delta flights, with a 57 minute layover in JFK. I'll have one checked bag. Is it enough time? TIA!
Yes, that is enough time if the first flight is on-time. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
I am arriving on delta on terminal 2 and leaving on air France terminal 1. I have only carry on luggage and have two hours. But I live in Minnesota and we may have a November snow.
How easy is it to get from terminal 2 to 1 and do I have to go through security.
does delta have a shuttle between these two? And what train should I take?
You take the "All Terminals Train". You have to go through security again in Terminal 1. You should have plenty of time. MSP handles snow, especially what minimal snow may fall in November, really well.
Thank you so much. I really appreciate your help.
Hey I'm flying EgyptAir from CAI to JFK arriving 3:25pm and have a connecting flight at 5:15pm into BOS. I'm a US citizen and traveling with carry-ons, no check in luggage. Would I be able to make my flight? Thanks in advance!
What airline are you flying on the second flight? Is it one reservation or two separate reservations?
I'm flying EgyptAir from CAI to JFK and then Delta from JFK to BOS
It should just be possible if everything goes smoothly. Try to check in online for your Delta flight before leaving Egypt.
arriving from delta on terminal 2 at 10.50 AM and next flight is fro terminal 4 at 3.10 PM. I have to collect and then re-check in baggage/re-clear security is the overlay time enough ?
Yes, that should be enough time.
Hi there. I will arrive to JFK from Atlanta 12 50p.m. / Delta...then has flight to Belarus by Aeroflot at 2.20 pm. Has only carry on bag. Will it be enough time to go through security etc? Ty
If both flights are on the same reservation that should be enough time. All you have to do is take the AirTrain to Terminal 1 and go through security.
I would have hold baggage but on a single reservation Virgin from MAN with a connection 1 hour 40 minutes to ORF, is that reasonable for someone who stresses about being late?
That's barely enough time if everything goes perfectly. Note that the flight to Norfolk will be operated by Delta Connection.
