Looking for some info help. My sister is arriving at LAX United express from LAS arriving at 10:17am and then going to fly internationally with American Airlines departing 11:30am. Her tickets are already confirmed. She's worried she might not have enough time to catch the other flight. Would she have enough time? Or would you recommend changing her flight from LAS to LAX? She won't be checking in any baggage. If that's enough time, what route would she take to her gate? She hasn't traveled in a while. Thank you so much for your help.
With no checked bags, if she is able to check in online for her AA flight she can go directly to her departure gate by walking to T6 and then through the tunnel to T5 or T4 where she departs. She arrives in T8.
I have a flight transfer tomorrow at LAX, and like to know roughly how long it will take me to walk from Terminal 7 to TBIT. I have 2 hours between the flights, and worried that it may be too short.
Thanks a lot.
That's enough time.
detailed info for first time flyer, thank you for your assistance.
Assuming you are arriving on a domestic flight into Terminal 7, then you walk to the base of Terminal 7 and follow signs to Terminal 6 (don't exit security), then walk up Terminal 6 until you see a small sign pointing down some stairs towards Terminal 5, there is a tunnel there, you can take that tunnel all the way to Terminal 4. from there follow signs to the International Terminal through the new connector building.
Thank you:)
Is 45 minutes enough time to connect between two Alaska flights.
Yes, it should be enough time if the first flight is on-time.
How long should I expect it to take to get from Terminal One to Terminal Six at approximately 9:00 am on a Monday morning? Am I correct in thinking that I cannot currently walk between the terminals and will have to take the shuttle between terminals?
You should still be able to walk between them outside security. I would want at least 90 minutes without checked bags and 2.5 hours with checked bags.
if I arrive by southwest how do I get to international Cathay Pacific
The best way is by walking from Terminal 1 to the International Terminal.
I am flying Alaska Airlines from PDX to LAX leaving at 5.55pm, arriving LAX 8.14PM. I am connecting to Fiji Airlines to fly to Nadi business class departing 11.30pm. Do you think this will be enough time and could you please advise which terminals I will be using and the quickest way to get around. Thank you
You arrive in Terminal 6 and depart from the International Terminal. I think you have enough time if the flight from Portland is on-time. The only way to get around is walking.
Upon my flight arrival at LAX, if I go through customs at the Tom Bradley International Terminal, and my connection is at Terminal 1, do I need to exit and go back through security in Terminal 1?
Yes, when you clear customs you will be outside security. You will have to take your bags with you to Terminal 1 to re-check them with Southwest and go through security.
Hi, if arrive on a virgin flight from Sydney to la at 6.05am will I have enough time to catch a spirit flight to Houston at 8.24am
That should be enough time if everything goes smoothly. You will have to transfer any checked bags yourself to Spirit.
Can passengers change terminals inside security? I arrive in 6 and need to go to 4. Thanks.
I have been reading about the tunnels between the terminals. Where is terminal 6 do I find the entrance to the tunnel that leads to terminal 4? I have read there are no signs, and it is easy to get lost, or accidentally go to baggage claim.

Thanks for your help.
The tunnel from T6 to T5 and T4 is about halfway up the concourse down a flight of stairs. The only sign is a little one on a stand (not an overhead one).
Thanks for your reply.

Is there a gate number the tunnel entrance in 6 is nearby? Once inside the tunnel, are there any signs so passengers don't accidentally exit the tunnel before they want to?
