I arrive on Air NZ at TBIT at 7.25pm and have a domestic flight to SFO at 9.40pm. Is this enough time? If I have checked in on line for my domestic flight will I be able to drop my bag after arrivals in TBIT or will I have to check in at United?
If your bags are tagged to SFO you can drop them after clearing customs in the TBIT. Otherwise you have to take them to T7 to check them with United.
Hi, I will be landing in LAX (Cathay) on TBIT terminal and I need to connect to my AA flight within 2 hours to Las Vegas (I believe it will be T4).

Given Cathay and AA are oneWorld, even if its separate ticket, can I have my bags checkthrough ? Based on my research, I will still need to pick up and re-check the bag again in LAX ?

Will I be able to make it in 2 hours assuming I am flying business and able to running out of the gate?
You have to claim your bags at LAX in order to take them through US Customs, even if you get them tagged to LAS. You have just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
I am flying from Tokyo Haneda to Boston on Americn Airlines with a first stop at LAX. Do I need to clear customs at LAX and what is the process. Do I have enough time with only a 2 hour layover?
Yes, at LAX you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate in Terminal 4 or 5.
I'm flying Alaska Air, arriving at LAX from SFO at 7:35am on a Wednesday (Valentines Day) with a departure to Cancun scheduled for 8:35am. Is 90 minutes enough time for this transfer?
I actually just noticed that the int'l flight out of LAX is Virgin, not Alaska...
Yes, all you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate if both flights are on the same reservation.
Have a United flight from Sydney to LAX arriving 6:30am. Want to know if there's enough time to make my American Airlines flight departing LAX at 8:30am to Cabo (SJD)
With checked bags that would be very difficult. With no checked bags it is just enough time.
I will be arriving on an international flight on Lufthansa, arriving at 5:40 PM and am scheduled to depart on a United domestic flight at 6:45PM. This was the way United offered the flights on their web site when I booked. From what I can tell it looks nearly impossible to make the connection in 1 hour and 5 minutes. I may just go with carry on luggage, and I have Global Entry. Do I have a chance of making the connection, or should I get United to push us to a later departing flight?
With global entry and no checked bags it is possible. Where are you coming from? I don't see any Lufthansa flights that arrive at 5:40 PM.
Arriving LAX Terminal 5 via Suncountry from Minneapolis at 10:50 PM Wednesday night. Leaving via Terminal B (China Airlines) at 1:15 AM. Luggage checked to destination in Minneapolis but need to get Boarding pass from China Airlines in LA. Can anyone tell me the process of doing this and how long it should take. I imagine I need to leave Terminal 5, get to Terminal B, get boarding pass from China Airlines, go back through security to gate?
So will I have enough time to do all of this comfortably in 2 1/2 hours?
You have the process correct. You should have enough time.
i will be arriving on a jetblue flight from jfk and connecting to an american airlines international flight to tokyo. how far apart are the terminals?
You arrive in Terminal 6 and depart from Terminal 4 or 5. They are all connected to each other so if you don't have checked bags you don't even need to leave security.
I am traveling with my 80 year old and 75 year old sisters, our flight arrives at LAX at terminal 1 at 4:37 and our Spirit airlines connecting flight leaves from terminal 5 at 5:11. How long will it take to get between terminals and what is the best way?
You have absolutely no chance of making that connection. You should not have booked it. You have to walk or take the shuttle from Terminal 1 to Terminal 5 and go through security. If you have any checked bags you will have to claim them and re-check them with Spirit in T5. Again, this is an impossible connection.
Have never been to Lax flying today arriving gate 38 terminal 3 delta from New Orleans connecting to united to San Luis Obispo terminal 7 gate 80
My wife has bad neuropathy in her feet from chemo therapy
We have about 1:15 to boarding time. Suggestions please to save her walking. Shuttles? Can? Must we go back out and through security benn googling the heck out of this now I am more confused. We have flown a good bit but never thought of having to go back through security
You have to go through security again. You don't really have enough time unless the flight from New Orleans arrives quite early.
