I have a domestic flight via Delta arriving in LAX at 11:00pm booked separate from my international flight out of China Airlines at 1:05am. I will not have any checked luggage. Will that be enough time to walk to TBIT, check in at the counter, and go through security?
Yes, that should be enough time if the Delta flight is on-time.
I have 55 minutes to make an American Airlines connection at LAX and will need to change terminals. OMA to LAX then LAX to HNL. I have never flown through LAX. Is 55 minutes enough time to make the connection?
Yes, that's enough time if the flight from Omaha is on-time.
Will arrive on El AL at 7:30 am and want to know which terminal would be the closest and take the least time to get to if we are flying to Tucson, AZ...
American's terminal is the closest and can provide you other options to get there if you are late arriving by connecting through Phoenix.
Does it make a difference if the AA flight is American Eagle? Which terminal would it be? And thank you for the answer.
For American Eagle flights you go to Terminal 4 and then after security there is a bus that takes you to a little building called the American Eagle Remote Terminal where your flight will depart.
Thank you!
Landing from SYD in LAX on Virgin Australia (booked through Delta) connecting to a Delta flight to ATL. We have 1 hour and 45 minutes between flights...enough time to get luggage, and clear customs and immigration and security?
Yes, that is just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
I'm flying in from Australia and have 2hr 55 minutes to connect to my domestic flight to Orlando. I'm flying Virgin Australia from Australia and connecting to a Virgin America flight to Orlando. There is literally only one flight for me to go on through Virgin and hence my conundrum.
Are both flights on the same reservation or two separate reservations? Virgin America and Virgin Australia aren't related except the name. But yes, it should be enough time.
Hi I am flying from pdx to LAX I am going to China ester air 2hr you think I have time I have no bag to check in only carry on?
What airline are you flying from Portland? That should be enough time if your first flight is on-time.
I am flying United to LAX terminal 7 and have connection 37 min from Terminal 7 to Honolulu. What is the fastest way to do it?
Walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. It shouldn't take more than 8 minutes to get between gates.
Hi, am arriving from AKL into LAX with AA, is 1hr 45 mins enough time before connecting to LAS with AA? Issued as one ticket.
Returning will arrive in LAX from CLT on AS6603, have only 1hr 15 mins to connect to AA flight back to AKL - is this possible?
That is just enough time if everything is on-time. Yes, your connection on the way back is possible. Note that your flight from Charlotte will also be operated by American so all you have to do in LAX is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Thanks! What about immigration etc for leaving the US on our way home - won't we have to pass through it in LAX somewhere?
Also, on the way in to the US, will we have to collect our bags in LAX and check them in again for the LAS flight?
All flights are on the same AA ticket so was hoping they would be checked through from AKL to LAS.
On your way to Las Vegas you will have to claim your bags to go through US Customs in LAX and then immediately re-check them at the re-check desk. There is no US Immigration or Customs when leaving the US.
Flying with United Airlines on both parts of the journey from Sydney to Denver I land at LAX at 6.30am at Terminal B. The flight to Denver leaves Terminal 7 at 8.15am. 1h 45m layover. Is this enough time?
That's just enough time if everything goes smoothly. If you are delayed and miss your connection, United has frequent flights from LAX to Denver.
Hi, I have a flight from GSP to Honolulu with a 1 hour layover in LAX. I am flying American Airlines on both flights. Will the 1 hour be enough? Will I have to switch terminals? Thanks!
I meant I ATL not GSP
Yes, that is enough time. You may have to switch terminals as American runs domestic flights from both terminals 4 and 6, but they are connected inside security by a pedestrian tunnel.
