We arrive to LAX on Alaska Airlines flight at 705pm with a departing flight on FijiAirways to Fiji at 930PM on a different reservation. 1)Fastest way to get from terminal 6 to international terminal and 2) will we need to pick up bags and check in with fiji airlines and go through security again or some variation of that?
The fastest way is to walk. Yes, you will have to claim your bags in T6, take them to the International Terminal and re-check them with Fiji Airways then go through security. You should have enough time if the first flight is on-time.
I have a 45min layover in LAX from PDX to SYD. I am flying Delta and am worried I wont make it to the international terminal in time. Thoughts?

Thanks for the help.
If your flight to Sydney is operated by Delta you don't have to go to the International Terminal, just from your arrival gate to your departure gate in Terminal 2 or 3. You have enough time if the first flight is on-time.
Thanks Zap! I think my connecting flight is a Delta partner KLM. I’m guessing they are in T2
KLM does not fly from LAX to Sydney. Your flight to Sydney is operated by either Delta or Virgin Australia.
I am flying in 12/3 from Nashville to LAX changing planes there then onto Honolulu. Delta airlines the whole trip. Am I correct in assuming that flight from BNA to LAX AND the flight from LAX to HNL will both be at the Delta Terminal? I looked at the map and it says Delta uses Terminals 2 and 3. Other places say 5 and 6. I don't care either way, I just want to know if they are close. I got 40 minutes to change planes. It's freaking me out! Thanks!!
Delta moved to Terminals 2 and 3 recently. Yes, both flights will be in Terminals 2 or 3. There is a shuttle bus between them inside security if you have to change between 2 and 3. You have just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Thanks! Now let's just hope for smoothly!!
Flying Delta airlines and they changed our original departure time so I would miss my connecting flight. I was able to book a flight on SW to LAX it arrives about an hour an a half before the next take off. I will be using a carry on only but concerned about getting from one terminal to the next. Will an hour an a half be enough time? It will be a Saturday morning flight
That's just enough time if everything goes perfectly.
I am landing at LAX from San Diego with United at 14.35
I am flying business class with Finnair at 17.50
Would that be enough time?
Yes, that should be enough time if everything goes smoothly. If you have checked bags you'll have to transfer them yourself.
Will 3 hours be enough time to connect flying into LAX on Fiji Airlines to Southwest Airlines?
That is just enough time if everything goes smoothly. You will have to transfer your bags yourselves to Terminal 1.
Southwest have just changed our flight departure time and I am a little concerned we may not make our Qantas connecting flight. We now arrive LAX from Cancun at 8.35pm and depart Qantas business class for Sydney at 10.35pm. I understand both flights are via TBIT. Do we have enough time?
That is just enough time if everything goes perfectly. You will have to hurry with your bags to the Qantas check-in desk to get your bags checked before the cutoff.
I intend to transfer in LAX from United to SAS (Scandinavium airlines). If on time I would arrive 12:56 from Denver (alternately 12:43 from SFO if I take another route) in Terminal 7, departing 14:20 to Stockholm ARN from Tom Bradley Int. on a Saturday. I would fly United First domestic and SAS Business (and have Star Alliance Gold/SAS Eurobonds Diamond) - so I think I would have fast track if a security check when changing terminals. (My intention is booking one ticket for both flights - which are within Star Alliance.)

Would that be enough time?
Yes, that would be enough time. You can even go from T7 to the International Terminal without leaving security now. Take the walkway to T6, then the tunnels from T6 through T5 to T4 and then the connector building to the International Terminal.
I am flying to Paris from Sacramento and connecting in LAX. I was checking into my flight today and a prompt read:
"...Due to the modernization of our facilities at LAX, if you are traveling to any international destination you must go to Terminal 2 to drop your bags before proceeding to your gate. For all other destinations, bags can be dropped at Terminal 3. Please allow extra time at the airport."

Does this mean I cannot check my bag directly through from SMF? But rather would have to retrieve it from luggage claim and then go through security again?
No, ignore that. That's a boilerplate message they include for anyone flying to from or through LAX. Also, note that "Delta" flights from LAX to Paris are operated by Air France and thus you will depart from the International Terminal, not Terminal 2 or 3.
I am flying to Toronto from Sacramento and connecting in LAX. I was checking into my flight today and a prompt read "...if you are traveling on any international destination, you must go to terminal 2 to drop your bags before proceeding to your gate." Does this include Canadian flights? If so, I land at 930 pm in LAX and leave at 11 pm. Will this be enough time?
What airlines are you flying? I can't answer your question without that information.
i am flying american airline from Boston( logan )to LAX with changing flights to Hawaii
