Hi, I have a Flight with TAP from Portugal arriving in Miami at 15:10 and then a different flight with Santa Barbara Airlines from Miami to Caracas at 16:30. Will this be too short? As we are exiting the US should be easier I belive but will hate to miss the flight to Caracas. Any comments?
This is completely impossible and the fact that you are exiting the US doesn't make anything easier. Absolutely do not book this.
Family of 4 Flying ORD to CUN. Arriving 7:15pm into MIA, departing next morning 7:10am for CUN. Any reasonably priced hotels with free shuttle service - maybe close to dinner options. I'm thinking Luggage is checked through to CUN so will carry-on overnight stuff. Thanks for ideas!
Your baggage likely won't be able to be checked through to Cancun due to the overnight connection.
I am planning to fly in to MIA from Curacao, and flying out to Los Angeles. Both flights are American. I only have 2:15 hours for the transit. Do you think it is enough? Is is safe to have 3 hours? I have a checked luggage. Thanks!
That is barely enough time if everything goes smoothly. if you can choose 3 hours instead, I would do that.
Hi Zap, Thank you for your advice! (I see in your comment on 12/29, you have responded 2 hours was enough for Ecuador-MIA-Orlando transit. Is this because 12/25 is not busy day? So do you think 2 hours transit time is too risky for the regular weekday...?)
Yeah, it was also because there are more options if he were to miss MIA-Orlando (UIO-MIA arrives early in the day and worst case you can drive or take a bus to Orlando) also, 2.5 hrs vs. 2 hrs 15 minutes is a meaningful difference.
