How do we connect from American Int'l arrival gate to Delta flight to Orlando
You arrive in the North Terminal, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, take your bags to the South Terminal, re-check them with Delta, and go through security and to your departure gate. You need at least 3 hours.
Thanks for the info on terminals. We arrive at 3:30 pm and our connecting flight is at 8:15 pm, so we should have plenty of time.
We fly from LHR to CUN via MIA with AA (BA codeshare) Do we have have to collect luggage before clearing U.S. Customs? Or will it be checked directly to final destination (Internatiional- International) We have only 1 hour and 40 minutes...
You won't have to claim your bags in Miami but you will have to go through US Immigration, Customs, and Security. You have just enough time.
Hi. Departing San Juan and just in transit thru MIA. i have just under an hour to get onto LHR flight. All AA flights so hoping this is all same terminal and dont need to collect bags and do whole security check in again. Please advise
Yes, it's all in the same terminal and there is no US Immigration or anything when leaving the US, so all you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Same for my daughter next month. Coming from San Jose (CostaRica), going to London. Transit in Miami only 1:45h. Both Flights American Airline. So i understand its the same terminal and no collecting bags and security check again?
Will it be Terminal D?
sorry i forgot: My Daugther is german citizen. She´s been to the USA once last year (NY, New Orleans, San Francisco). Esta is renewed and valid.
We have flight AA Houston - Miami - Santo Domingo with transit time 1 h 10 min. Where we could process with passport control and clearance (non- US citizens). What is the required transit time for this process.
There is no US Immigration or Customs (Passport Control) when leaving the US. All you have to do in Miami is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
