Is it better to park in the lot near terminal A or near terminal C if I need to get to terminal B?.....thanks.

Its about the same. Will actually depend more on which airline your using, and which baggage carousel at SJC, but its a pretty close tie.

Theres a lot by Santa Clara U where you can park for free, then take the bus across the street at Caltrain - all for free!

Also check out longtermparking.com. They have a list of offsite long term parking lots that are much cheaper than regular airport parking. They have shuttles that will drop you off at your terminal.

When picking up a passenger at SJC, you can use the free Cell Phone Waiting lot, which is on both sides of Airport Parkway, beween Technology Drive & Hwy 87's crossover. An alternative is to park in the back of the Long-Term Lot on Martin Av., and at Shuttle Stop L, a shuttle will take you from there to the terminal.

For Long-Term Parking at Mineta Airport, pass Airport Blvd.'s two parking garages, after a sharp left curve it turns into Ewert Rd., leading you straight to the parking lot. You can also access the lot via De La Cruz Ave. near Hwy. 101, and exit on Martin Ave. south to the parking lot at left. And you can also reach the long-term lot from I-880 by exiting on Coleman Ave. north, to Brokaw Rd, which turns shorty thereafter into Martin Ave. The lot is to the right.
