I am flying to YUL to visit my son just south of the border in Vermont. Does anyone know of a bus route that can take me to the border so that I can be picked up there? If so, how do I contact the bus service to get a ticket? Thanks for the help.
You can take the 747 airport express bus, which has a stop on the corner of René-Levesque Boul and Drummond St. Once at the bus stop, it's a 5-minute walk or less.
Note that your 747 bus ticket is actually a 24h ticket, so you can use it for the rest of the day and the next morning. If you're planning on using the public transit system a lot (and it's very efficient in Montreal), you can also choose larger tickets, such as 3-days consecutive and unlimited weekend (which starts on Friday). If you get the (OPUS) chip card (7$) you can also charge a full-week ticket or larger on it.
