Getting Around the Airport
Newark Liberty International Airport has three major passenger terminals: Terminal A, Terminal B, and Terminal C. These terminals are arranged in a semi-circle. All three Terminals have four levels: Levels 1, 2, 3, and a Gate level between levels 2 and 3. The Gate level has Gate areas 1, 2, and 3 at the entry of which is the security checkpoint.
Three escalators located at each level's center, at right, and left, connect to the next level, while elevators are on both ends of levels 1-3. Signs direct passengers to specific levels of terminals and to their services at the EWR Airport.

Newark Liberty Airport (EWR) Terminals
Terminal A
Terminal A is served by Air Canada (Level 3), Allegiant (Level 2), American (Level 3), JetBlue (Level 3), and United Express.
This terminal has four levels.
Level 1 provides access to the Parking and Service Animal/Pet Relief Area.Level 2 has 03 baggage claim carousels, Rental Car and Hotel Shuttles, Hotel/Motel Courtesy Phone, and Ground Transportation Information Center.
Level 3 has 03 check-in counters.
Level 4/Gates level has 03 security checkpoints providing access to Gate Area A1 (Gates A10-18), Gate Area A2 in the center (gates A20-28); and Gate Area A3 (Gates A30-39). There is AirTrain Station, Currency Exchange, and Airline Clubs on this level. Each of the Gate areas has a Service Animal/Pet Relief Area. Gate Area 1 has Currency Exchange, Gate Area 2 has a shuttle from Terminal A to C, and Gate Area 3 has an ATM. Nursing Suites are located at 05 locations: Near gates A10 - 18, Near gates A30-39, A1 post-security hall, A2 (Adjacent to the bus access and Earl of Sandwich Restaurant), and A3 post-security hall between gate 32 and center. Boss Shoeshine International can be found at on the Gates Level and inside Gate Area A3.
Throughout the terminal, there are charging stations as well.

Terminal B
Terminal B is for all international flights and is served by the following 29 airlines: Aer Lingus (Level 2), Air China (Level 3), Air India (Level 3), Alaska Airlines (Level 3), Austrian (Level 3), Avianca (Level 3), British (Level 1), Cathay (Level 3), Delta (Level 2), El Al (Level 3), Elite (Level 3), Emirates (Level 3), Ethiopian (Level 3), Eurowings (Level 3), Frontier (Level 2) IcelandAir (Level 2), LaCompagnie (Level 3), Level Airlines (Level 1), LOT- Polish Airlines (Level 3), Lufthansa (Level 3), Porter (Level 3), Scandinavian Airlines (Level 3), Singapore (Level 3), Sun Country (Level 3), Spirit (Level 1), Swiss (Level 3), TAP Portugal (Level 3), United (International), and Virgin Atlantic (Level 3).
This terminal has four levels.
Level 1 provides access to the Parking and Bus Stops and has a Ground Transportation Information Center.
Level 2 has 02 baggage claim carousels, 02 Ground Transportation Information Centers, Hotel/Motel Courtesy Phone, Concierge Services, and Service Animal/Pet Relief Area.
Level 3 has 05 check-in counters.
Level 4/Concourse level has 02 U.S. Immigration counters, AirTrain Station, ATM, Airline Club, and Service Animal/Pet Relief Area. This level provides access to Gate Areas B1 (Gates 40-47), B2 (Gates 51-57), and B3 (Gates 60-68). The connector to Gate Area B1 has two Airline Clubs and Service Animal/Pet Relief Area. There is another Service Animal/Pet Relief Area inside Gate Area B2. Inside Gate Area B3 are two Airline Clubs, Service Animal/Pet Relief Area, and Currency Exchange. Nursing Suites are located at 03 locations: Gate B47, Gate B51, and Gate B66. Boss Shoeshine International can be found at on the Gates Level.

Terminal C
Terminal C is served exclusively by United Domestic and International flights and United Express airlines.
This terminal has three levels.
Level 1 provides access to the Parking and Bus Stops, and has 02 baggage claim carousels, Concierge Services, Ground Transportation Information Center, and Currency Exchange.
Level 2 has 04 check-in counters and a Service Animal/Pet Relief Area.
Level 3 has 03 check-in counters, an ATM, AirTrain Station, and 03 security checkpoints providing access to the three Gate Areas: Gate Area C1 (Gates C70-98), Gate Area C2 (Gates C101-115), and Gate Area C3 (Gates C120-139). Inside Gate Area C1 there are 02 ATMs, Concierge Services, Currency Exchange, Airline Clubs, and Shuttle From Terminal A to C. Inside Gate Area C2 there are Concierge Services. Inside Gate Area C3 there is Service Animal/Pet Relief Area, Concierge Services, an ATM, and Currency Exchange. Nursing Suites can be found at three locations: Gate B47, the alcove beyond Gate B51, and Gate B66 (After TSA, just before bathrooms and gates). Boss Shoeshine International is also found at this level at the B1 Rotunda.
For self-care, there is D_parture Spa at Gates C101-115 and at Gates C70-99, L'Occitane
near the checkpoint to Gates C120-139, and MAC inside the duty-free shop nearest Gates C120-139.

Food, Shops & Amenities
There are many options for shopping and dining around EWR airport. Some notable shops and restaurants include Abica Coffee, Cheeburger Cheeburger, and EJE Duty-Free (kiosk) in Terminal A; All You Need, Belgian Beer Café, and Champps American in Terminal B; and Abruzzo Italian Steakhouse, Casciano Italian Specialties, and CIBO Express Gourmet Kosher Market Cases in Terminal C.
Security Checkpoints
The security checkpoints at the EWR airport are monitored by the Federal TSA - Transportation Security Administration. Only passengers possessing tickets are allowed to proceed beyond any of the security checkpoints. All security checkpoints provide access to the concourses and airplane gates.
