I understand there are three (3) United Clubs at EWR. Can anyone give us a rating of the Clubs, based on amenities, service and general condition ... seldom travel, never used EWR and will not have time to "personally" site-check each Club. Thanks.
I have used the C1 one (the one with the lowest numbered gates closed to Terminal B). It is fine. It is located above a food court in a big ring, so it's kind of neat, but also doesn't have very good views of anything except the food court. It also has only one rather small bar and only one set of restrooms that are both fairly small. If it had a bigger bar and more/bigger restrooms it would be a great club. The C3 club (near gate C120) is much newer and larger but also since many International flights depart from the concourse. It will be very busy when International flights are getting ready to depart. The Terminal A club is functional but small and is set up more like a cafe than a real lounge. But it looks nice and is a good place for a drink, probably not a great place to relax for a long time. The C1 lounge is definitely more comfortable.
I am travelling from INDIA ( MUM ) TO EWR and onward travel to LAS VEGAS after 4 hours. Does my checked in bag get transferred to the LAS flight at EWR. I am flying both sectors by UNITED.DO I have to collect the bag and get it transferred at EWR .
In Newark you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate.
