Hi, I'm flying with United Airlines from San Jose to EWR Terminal C and with Lufthansa from EWR Terminal B back to Germany. Both flights are on the same reservation.
1) Will the luggage be transferred to the other plain automatically, or do I need to collect it, an send it off manually again?
2) Is it possible to connect from Terminal C to Terminal B inside security ? Is there a shuttle bus from from Terminal C to Terminal B inside security?
Thanks for your help!

San Jose, California or San Jose, Costa Rica?
San Jose, Costa Rica
You have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go to Terminal B on the AirTrain, go through security and to your departure gate.
Hi. We are flying from San Juan to Newark. We will arrive in Newark 17:50, and we need to catch our flight to Norway just an hour later at, 18:55. Is this at all dueable? And will the luggage be transferred to the other plain automatically, or do we need to collect it, an send it off manually again?

Hope you can help!
What airlines are you flying? Are both flights on the same reservation or two separate reservations?
Both are on the same reservation. We are flying United from San Juan to New York, and SAS from New York to Norway..
Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do is take the shuttle bus from near gate C71 to the SAS gates in Terminal B inside security. You don't have to do anything with your bags.
I don't know if you're the operator of this site or what, but thank you for being so helpful. It's almost hard to believe how little info there is on the EWR airside shuttle, given the volume of travellers who must be making these connections there every day. Thanks again.
You're welcome
My flight lands at 4:20pm in the International Terminal. I then need to catch a Southwest flight that departs at 5:55pm. Prior to this I need to pick up my 2 bags at the international terminal and check them in at southwest. Will 90 minutes be enough time for me to do this?
Newark doesn't have an "International Terminal". Both Terminals B and C handle international arrivals. What airline are you arriving on and from where?
My flights lands from Ahmedabad with Air India. My next flight departs for Cleveland with Southwest
How do I get from C-83 to A-25?
Take the shuttle bus from near Gate C71.
This thread is a gold mine of answers! Thank you in advance.

I'm wondering whether I can transfer airside between Terminal A concourses. In this case I'd like to go to the United Club in one concourse but my flight is on Alaska in another wing with separate security (as I understand it). Is it possible to transfer between wings? Given that it's Christmas time, going through security twice would be a major haul.
No, you can't. The United shuttle bus only goes to the concourse of A that they use (where the United Club is).
We are flying from CLT to EWR arriving at 8:28 pm and we have another flight leaving EWR to BCN at 2300 (Terminal B). We are bringing a friends teen with us and it's his birthday! So my question is can they meet us inbetween flights somewhere? Or do we only go through security in CLT and then take shuttles to Terminal B? Thank you... We leave tomorrow!!
You have enough time to leave security, meet them, then take the AirTrain to Terminal B and go through security.
How to connect from terminal C to terminal B
If the second flight is on a Star Alliance partner of United (such as SAS, TAP. Lufthansa, Swiss, Austrian, or ANA - I know I'm forgetting some), you take a shuttle bus from gate C71 to that concourse inside security. If it's to United itself, you take the shuttle bus to that concourse. The agent at the bus counter near C71 can help you find where you're going. If it's on a different airline from those you have to take the AirTrain and re-clear security in Terminal B.
I am flying into Newark Terminal A from Halifax Nova Scotia on United, then connecting onward with Lufthansa in terminal B, do I have to clear security again from terminals A to B or is it similar to PHL? Also, what is the best way to connect to terminal B?
You have to take a United shuttle bus from Terminal A to Terminal B, but it is inside security.
I have a 45 minute connection, arriving at Terminal A and leaving from Terminal C, is it possible to walk/run from A to C without having to go through security again or is the shuttle bus a better bet?
The shuttle bus is the only way to go between A and C without going through security again.
