The Airport is located in Olbia, on the northeast coast of the Mediterranean island of Sardinia.
With 2.5 million passengers in 2016, Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport is served by domestic and international, regular and low-cost Airlines offering direct flights to many cities in Europe, with worldwide connections, as well as many seasonal charter companies.
- The Ground level is divided into Arrivals & Departures /check-in area. - Level 1 (mezzanine) houses meeting rooms of the Business Cener, the University, a chapel and museum.
Present and future Airport development: Geasar (the Airport operator), prepared in early 2016 a four-year investment plan allowing for the airport infrastructure to adapt to air traffic growth projections, while complying with stringent quality objectives and environmental protection.
