I arrive to PHL from Venice, Italy at 3:45 PM and have a connecting flight to Punta Cana, DR, at 5:55PM. Will I have to go through customs and re-check my bags or will I just go to the gate for the connecting flight? The same question about the return flight (Punta Cana-PHL-Venice, Italy). Especially, because I have only 1h 16min in bertween flights (arrival from Punta Cana to PHL at 5:14 and flight to Venice at 6:30 PM). If I don't catch it I will be re-booked on another flight, right?
Thank you so much for your answers in advance!

Yes, you have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then go through security and to your departure gate. The connection on the way to Punta Cana is sufficient but the return is pretty risky. You would probably be stuck in Philadelphia overnight if you miss your connection because there's just the one daily flight to Venice. They could maybe rebook you via London or Madrid.
I will go from Norfolk to Sweden, changing flights in Philadelphia to London, and then further on to Gothenburg/Sweden! Do you know if I can check my bags all the way from Norfolk to Sweden or do I have to take it out in Philadelphia and then recheck it? /Elisabet
Is it all one reservation or two separate reservations? If it's all one reservation you can check your bags in Norfolk and not see them again until you get to Gothenburg.
Hi, I am travelling from Norfolk to PHL and I arrive to terminal F and I have a connection flight that I need to catch at terminal A that will take me to London. I have 1 hour between my flights, do you think I will be able to make it?
Yes, that is enough time if the first flight is on-time.
Thank you! Then I hope it will be on time. Do you know if I can send the bags all the way from Norfolk to Sweden or do I have to take them out in Philadelphia?

You don't have to do anything with your bags in Philadelphia on the way to Sweden.
Arriving in terminal F and leaving out of terminal A (both domestic flights) with only a 45 minute layover. Am I screwed? Already booked...wasn’t really thinking. Now I’m worried my checked luggage will go missing and it’s a non refundable flight.
It's possible, there is a shuttle from F to A inside security, however, it obviously leaves no time to spare.
Better to take shuttle or run?
I would probably take the shuttle, but either will work.
will luggage make the connection? I have the same time frame in May? On a non refundable flight into terminal F and out of terminal A. Also how often do the shuttles run?
Flying American from Fort Lauderdale to Philadelphia then to Prague all with American. The layover in Philadelphia is 80 minutes is that enough time to go from domestic to an international flight even if it is with the same airline? Thank you so much for your help.
Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do in PHL on the way to Prague is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. There is no US Customs when leaving the US.
Arriving at terminal A at 9:27 with a connection to Jacksonville at 10:02 at terminal C, is that enough time to go between terminals as long as the flights are on time? Also will our luggage get on the flight to Jacksonville?
Yes, that is enough time, but it leaves no time to spare.
