Hello,
We are flying AA, connecting in PHL; landing at PHL at 9:43am, and our departing flight to MBJ leaves at 10:38am. Do you think we will make the connection?
Thanks,
K
If the first flight is domestic that is enough time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Had my AA flights changed, arrive from MAN at 1.35pm and connection to BNA is 3.10 pm. Is this enough time and is it an easy connection? AA have said it is a valid connection.
That's just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
We are flying from Boston AA1950 arriving to PHL terminal 0 at 10 am. We need to get to the flight AA845 at terminal A scheduled for 10:40 am. Will we have enough time?
"Terminal 0" is just a filler. There is no Terminal 0. You will arrive in Terminal A, B, or C. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time if the first flight is on-time but have no time to spare.
We are flying American - arrive PHL Flt. #700 at 2:36 p.m. from LAX, - leave for ATH Flt. #758 at 4:30 p.m. Will we have enough time to get to Flt. #758? Do we need to change terminals?
Both flights will likely be in Terminal A, but the LAX flight may arrive in Terminal B. All gates are connected inside security. You have plenty of time.
Hi,

I have a connecting flight in PHL to MIA. I arrive flight AA5563 in terminal F at 9:46 and have to be at terminal B (13) that leaves for MIA at 10:30 flight AA 1825. Will this be enough time without pre-check?

Thanks
You don't have to go through security in Philadelphia. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
We will be flying into Terminal 0 from Tampa and have a layover of 1 hour 15 minutes to get to Terminal A for our flight to Manchester, will this be enough time?

Hi there,

I will be traveling from St.Louis, MO to Budapest via Philadelphia with American Airlines several times a year, at least this route is my plan for now.
1. St.Louis to PHL and connecting to any Europe bound flight should be smooth, the way I read it so far. My understanding there is no security check again at PHL.

2. Arriving from Europe to PHL: I do have Global Entry, that helps a lot. Concerning the baggage pick up/wait time, then customs wait time. How much can I expect for each ?
Do I need to go through security again, if so, what is the average wait time in the afternoon hours ?

Thank you !

Yes, you will have to go through security again in philadelphia after you clear customs. Considering you have Global Entry and can therefore use Precheck, it shouldn't take too long (maybe 10 minutes at most). I would want 90 minutes to connect in PHL on your way home.
Great, thank you again !
Hi
We had booked MAN to Orlando via PHL for our summer trip. The flights have just been changed by AA, such that we arrive PHL from MAN on the 27th July at 1335 on AA735 in terminal A. Our connecting flight to MCO departs 1534 (AA2015), I don't know which terminal. The connection time on the revised flights is now 1hr 59, is that sufficient? Thanks
Yes, that is enough time.
Awesome, thanks
Hi - I have a flight arriving from Cancun, Mexico with 1 hr 15 minutes between my scheduled arrival in Philly and departing connection to another US city. Is that enough time to deplane, go through customs (with global entry), wait for my 2 checked bags to transfer, go back through security line (with TSA pre-check), and get to the new gate? Not sure what terminal I will arrive and depart from. Thanks!
With pre-check I think you can do it but it leaves no time to spare.
Plan to land at PHL (from California) via AA then connect to an AA international flight with one hour layover time. (Both flights on the same ticket and we both have TSA Pre-Check.) Doable by walking from whatever terminal we land in to the international terminal where the second flight will take off?
Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Thanks for the insight. (Never been to PHL.) Even though I would have to go past security again (with TSA Pe-Check), would there be enough time to sneak in a quick vape outside before checking in to the departing flight?
