I will be flying into PHX at 1302 (from LAX) on an AA flight. I then have a South West flight booked at 1450 on Southwest to LAX. Will I have enough time to collect checked luggage from AA flight, and re check into Southwest flight, clearance security and make the flight in time?
That's barely enough time if the first flight is on-time.
Flying in from MCI on a Tuesday morning at the end of May on Southwest, then on to LIH on Hawaiian Air... how much time should we allow between flights?
I would want at least 2 hours, preferably a little more.
I am flying in on Southwest (Terminal 4) and transferring to an AA flight (Terminal 4) with about 45 minutes in between. Can I walk from SW gates to AA gates or it it a shuttle? Do I have time assuming flights are on time? It looks like I would have to go through security.
Yes, you can walk between the AA gates and Southwest gates without having to go through security. That is enough time if the first flight is on-time. Obviously you won't be able to check baggage.
I have a short 33 minute layover/connection time. Has AAL allowed enough time to get from arrival A-22 to departure B-19 gates? Appreciate your helpfulness.
That is possible if the first flight is on-time but it leaves no time to spare.
I would be flying from Medford, Oregon. I don't like to have less than an hour between flights, but the only option seems to be 50 minutes. It scares me. Will I make a connection to Orlando, Fl?
That's enough time. It shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to go between gates.
We are flying American Airways Vancouver to Philadelphia and on to Shannon with 50 minute stopover in Phoenix.
We are Irish citizens so not sure whether we have to clear customs. Will we have enough time ?
thank you
You pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver. All you have to do in Phoenix is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
Brilliant. Thank you
Is a 58 min layover enough to get from one American Airlines flight to another? Would my connecting flight be in the same terminal?
Yes, all American flights are in Terminal 4 and connected inside security. You have enough time.
Thanks much!
We are flying in from Cabo on the 8th of February we are connecting to the London BA flight both flights land and depart from terminal 4 will we have to pick up and re check our hold baggage , do we have to go through passport control and security as both flights are in terminal 4 we have allowed 2 hours for the connection is that enough time ?
Yes, you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then go through security and to your departure gate.
Where do we re check our baggage do you think 2 hours will be enough time to make the connection
There is a re-check desk right after you clear customs.
Thank you do you think we have allowed enough time to make the connection 2 hours ?
I'll be arriving on a southwest flight to Phx at 6:15 pm. Will I have enough time to make my American Airlines flight to GJT at 6:50 pm?
With no checked bags it's possible but leaves no time to spare. With checked bags it's not possible.
Thank you!
Which gate does Southwest flight number 1219 usually arrive at? And at which gate does American Airlines flight number 3097 usually depart?
Flights don't have "Usual" gates however, both Southwest and American are in Terminal 4, so if you don't have checked bags, you can walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate in 15 minutes or so.
Thank you. I'll have 30 min between flights and needed to know if I'd make it from Southwest arrival to American departure.
